Oh Laura, this has been such a terrible week. We lost our son a few days ago. My husband and I aren't sleeping, we are overwhelmed with grief. This morning I was waiting for your video and I asked God, Please let this be a long one. I needed the escape. Thank you! I love gardening and plants. So did my son. What a gift this was.

The mom videos are always a hit....yalls relationship is such a delight. We get to mid year and start seeing Susan more and I automatically get geared up for the antique shops, Christmas shopping and wreath making!!!!

Just stopped by the garden store this morning and I was sooo pleasantly impressed with the quality of this nursery. My husband and I are from Grants Pass Oregon and are on a road trip to Wyoming and Montana. It worked out that we went through Ontario and had the opportunity to see the Garden store and nursery. It was a bonus to meet mom Susan while we were there. What a lovely person she is. She took the time to visit and I could clearly see she is very genuine and kind. The help in the store was also very kind and friendly. The plant selection was a dream for me. I could have easily loaded up a trailer. Everything was well fertilized and watered...especially for the 100 plus degree days lately. It was 109 here yesterday.😮 Thank you Laura for all of your videos. You have rekindled and inspired my passion for gardening and landscaping. Stay cool!😊

The insect you and your mom were trying to name is called a "firefly" or as we in Pennsylvania call them, "lightning bugs". My sister-in-law, who was born and has lived her whole life in Idaho, loved to visit us here in PA in the summer because she liked to watch the lightning bugs.

It's always so impressive to me how well stocked your mom keeps the nursery. Ours are all having closeout sales and are done for the year. If you want to plant something in fall, forget it.
Same here. Quite a few of them pass out “July bucks” and “August bucks” coupons when you shop early in the season, but there’s absolutely nothing left by the time July and August roll around. 👎

I really enjoyed watching this video this morning. I’m hanging out at home with my newborn and can’t really get out to spend an hour at the garden center (we’re in the same area with the same heatwave) so watching this is second best to being there.

The nursery is still so full. If I lived there I’d have a truck full of your gorgeous echinacea, roses, shrubs, and perennials loaded up! And you have a ton of white guara ! New Gardner in Ohio: The workers along with mom have done a fabulous job on the garden center. The flowers, plants and trees look so healthy and beautiful. I wish we had a garden center here like your mom’s. You can tell of the hard work they put in every day.

I came from MN to visit my daughter who is new to Boise and I can’t tell you how excited I was when I figured out the nursery was approximately 60 minutes away. I came right away in the morning and it was even better in person. Many nice items inside and out. I will be back and when I drive from MN I’m hoping to bring home some things. I have to tell you my guy will often ask “ does your garden lady have any new episodes” one thing he enjoys watching with me 😂
Your videos are always a bright spot in my day & whenever your mother is involved it just takes it to another level. She should have her own channel - an absolute joy to watch no matter what’s involved!
I always have a note pad & pen when you do these video's. I just love how you and your mom go through the plants.
