Succulent information Care tips for succulents
1)SOIL- well draining ,porous,loose soil…non organic,a soil media that doesn’t retain moisture.
2)POT - smaller the pot better ideally 3-4 inches pot depth is good enough for a medium size succulent.
3)WATERING - only when the soil is bone dry however green coloured succulents like haworthia ,aloe mainTain slight Moisture but not soggy wet soil.
4)LIGHT - brightly coloured succulents provide direct morning sunlight for 5-6 hours post acclimation .Green coloured succulents like haworthia, strings of pearls or any string varieties indirect bright light.
5)Fertiliser - is not the top priority if you don’t use fertilisers it’s fine…but if you do go for liquid based fertiliser 1/2 the strength what’s mentioned on the bottle dilute in water ….and only feed the succulents that are in their growing period …never feed dormant succulents…never add too much fertiliser it will make the succulent weaker …during the growing period once a month or once in two month should be good ….wishing you all the luck

thank you so much :)
This topic is always welcome and it's never enough as far as the information about watering.
Nice succulents Sir , even the cute ones resting on the table.
Thank you for this video 🙏
thank you so much for your kind words :)
I was able to successfully propagate from leaves thanks to your channel.
oh wow thats so amazing ...remember this is a start of journey long way to go.... but you have achieved the most tricky and difficult part ...rest is easy :)
Your all plants are awesome and I feel happy when I shaw them👌👌👌👍
So nice of you...:)
Nice information ❤
So nice of you
thank you😊
I would guess that they absorb water during the night time when others plants respirate.
Hello, in our NAGPUR, temperature in summers will soar around 45 degrees or more. Can you please suggest something about how to take care of my succulents? Waiting for the reply 🙂
yes ,sir that will be too much for any succulent esp soft succulents like echeveria will not survive .....infact anything above 37c will start causing issue...... the only best option is to use a grow light ..its best to prepare moving them indoor under a grow light ...as outdoors wont be an ideal environment for them
Wow it was very insightful as always...your channel is one stop solution for all the succulent related info.,finally my succulents just arrived toaday....but i have query please spare some time to solve it ....
1) in our area its raining now days & i have kept the filtered river sand but i have not kept garden soil with me now. Due to rain its wet right now.... So do i wait till garden soil completely dry & then filled up in pots or i should go ahead to add in pot without waiting it to dry....
It seems some succulents like graptoveria titubans & echeveria peacockoi are closed means they need water & string of pearls are seems shrinked & also moonstone seems to get light wrinkled.....so what to do now please help....
Do i need to place in pot with wet garden soil or should i wait as i think these succulents needs water.... I have ordered them on 24 & they were dispatched to me by somewhere arround 25/27.
oh ok ..its absolutely ok if they are closed inwards that is much better than they were open ..in few days they will open up as you mentioned its raining ..no dont add them to wet soil..as they have just come in there could be possible cuts on the stem which are not visible at this point of time ..keep them away for moisture..atleast for 2-3 days .....is there any soil that is dry ...it will be good if you can pot them ...if you can keep the soil somewhere open so that it can dry faster ..if its 95 percent dry also its ok ...yes they would need water .. wishing you all the best....let me know if they open up ..ideally in my climate even if the succulent is closed it starts to open up the next day
@@LushGardener thank you very much.....I was quite worried & I think whom should I take help....& Then I saw your latest video posted....so I commented on this ....thank you very much for your advise...yes I will surely update you....thanks once again
graptoveria titubans closed inward is way better ..than it having open rosette
Ok ....but you have told in video that titubans when needed water then they will close itself to survive...
I have few queries...:-
1) for how many days I can keep my succulents like this as considering position of my succulents...some are shrink, wrinkled or closed....
2) after potting after how many days I should water them? I think 3-4 days is enough....am I right?
3)my garden soil have some rocks also , and they are of soil so what I do I use to break them in smaller particles....is it ok or I have to keep them aside?
These succulents which I got are small in size not pups bigger than that & smaller then a matured.....
My succulent has turned very a dark red-ish color but the leaves are shriveled a bit with 1 plump leave what should i do
when was the last time you watered …it getting stressed…give a complete watering and see if they plump up ideally it should in 24-48 hours
Watered once a week
I just watered yesterday
It's been 2 months nothing seems to work
ok then you need to check the roots..even if after 24 hours the succulent doesnt plump then either the soil is heavy and compact or the roots are having issue check the roots
