thank you so much ...yes they need but more watering and no direct sunlight ..i know its so strange even though they have such chubby but they run out of water quick even a think leaf succulent like echeveria wouldn't need much water how much these need :)

yes mam this variety never keep in direct sun it’s gets dehydrated faster and will also have high chances of getting burnt ☺️🪴

oh yes please don’t add it to cacti….very thirsty succulent that’s why I don’t even use this one in any arrangement wrinkles up pretty quick 😊….keep it separate….wishing you all the luck 😀
Thank you for your very helpful video! I was so excited finding one of these plants in the store as I had never seen any before and it was doing great all summer until my cat chewed on it. I put it outside and direct sun which definitely made it wrinkled and white spots all over it. Everything I've tried I think was the exact wrong thing, repotting, fertilized, full sun, and the dirt is wet. Sigh. It's almost completely dried out, just the teeniest green leaves poking out of one stem. I'm going to move it to indirect light and try to just ignore it so I don't fuss over it anymore and see if it ever comes back. I am so bad with succulents, murdered 3 of my mom's and all the attempts to propagate. I have 2 now seeming ok but I don't have my hopes too high. I should probably just give up on succulents and stop murdering them. The snake plants love me and we do great together so I'll just stick with that one and my Monstera.
oh nooo …don’t worry the initial part is difficult…even I have killed a lot of succulents…3 is like a small number lol sorry …yes this variety need indirect light ..little bit more watering but no soggy wet ..best is look for wrinkles if you see it’s time to give it a drink …please don’t give up lol

Just make sure your plant has gravel mixed with sand as soil and water it once a week or when it starts looking dry
Actually i am from South Africa and I have grown this vygie back home and I grow it here in the northern hemisphere, the stem is supposed to get dry like that, in South Africa these plants have a woody stem to reflect light and stop water from escaping, the new stem will always be green or red, the old stem is hard and woody

Ok I have to mention this because this works for any plants propagated by cuttings not grown from seed taken from the southern to northern hemisphere. Get some kind of grow light, a fluorescent will be OK but the ones they use to grow marijuana that use a huge amount of power are better, and put the plant under it for the amount of hours that it's daylight where it is from in January and December, and your plant will think it is still in the southern hemisphere and flower then. This works almost universally for all southern hemisphere plants propagated from cuttings not grown from seed but it works especially well for South African plants. I even somehow got one to naturalize in my yard thinking it's still in the southern hemisphere and grow a flower stalk with giant orange flowers around Christmas every year. It's fun, try it, some people have had succulents for years that never flowered until they did it because the plant's internal memory never thought it was summer.
I was thinking of getting this plant because it is beautiful...but sounds like this plant is a lot of work...I am going to stay with much easier succulents..I am happy you made this video, now I know this plant is not for me, Thank you!
ah yes …good choice yes this plant is quite fussy especially watering and sunlight…does t like direct sunlight…need more watering compared to other succulents…constant thirsty succulent also not advisable to added in arrangements …it creates issues in long run

hi mam put it in lose porous well draining soil don’t add any fertiliser and keep only in indirect bright light no direct sunlight ….yes this succulent gets wrinkles and look dehydrated very fast …don’t worry just water it …if it’s extremely dehydrated it will take time for it to bounce back don’t worry …
Hi, I have recently ordered this succulent from plant orbit, all the leaves are superrrr wrinkly and stems are dry as well, except the top part (looks little reddish). But no signs of aerial roots. I hope it survives.
yes put it in soil keep it indirect bright light and water ...these guys need more water compared to other succulents ...ensure your soil is lose ..
after watering it will lose the wrinkles ...its very common with this plant to wrinkle don't worry

It’s a very slow grower Sonia this particular plant of mine it’s been more than a year not much growth ….but just continue the same care you been giving this is the first time m propagating it .I have never cut them before let’s see how the propagation goes ☺️

yes your correct mine is etiolated ...i mentioned in the video mine is stretched due to less light because of the monsoon season the amount of light reduces a lot during this season for couple of months :(
