Monty Alexander (Live at Dizzy's, New York, July 24, 2010)

With one of the great jazz masters of our time. It was amazing to see this man's music take such interesting twists and turns. Notice the band: half "reggae" (right) and half "jazz" (left), if such a description is applicable (see second :40). This is the only video that I took that gives an idea of this unpredictable gig, which was totally unplanned on our part. The venue overlooking Columbus Circle reminds me a bit of the Billboard in Tokyo, Japan (or vice versa).
