You all probably dont care but does someone know a way to get back into an instagram account..?
I was dumb forgot the login password. I would love any tricks you can offer me.
@Zechariah Ian instablaster ;)
GOD DAMN!!! You got to ease us in to the look captain Sparrow!!! You can't just start with an extreme close up! I almost spit my coffee all over my screen!
So you didn't spit out ur coffee?
Love the vibes bro. I have a 1990 pickup that I’m about to embark on this same journey. Wish me luck up here in Seattle! ✌🏼
Awesome video man🤙🏾🔥
I've got a 95 rn85 hilux doing the same thing too, couldn't find any vids on you tube till I found this. Keep up the great content 👏👌
thanks my dude! i got a bit more vids coming up on my truck, just been in the middle of moving so havent had time to film!
Thanks so very much for this. I'm way into swapping an LS into a 94 precoma and I really want to get it low and slidey.
Dude thank you for making these! I've been thinking about building a mini truck but there's no videos on them anywhere.
Got a 2000 3rz single cab I want to reach the same end goal with, such a costly build but knowing re sale will be good is what’s keeping me going
dude yes! alot of the yota pickups ive seen up for sale have been drastically going up in price, especially the 5 speed ones. eventually the drift tax is gonna hit these vehicles so mods will feel worth it
Just pick up an 87’ xtracab longbed 22R for $400. The suspension is SHOT! I obviously don’t plan to drift it but thank you for giving me some insight on the suspension. Subbed!
I appreciate you brotha!
Sick man, I’m getting ready to do this myself!
lots of great information and demonstration. good video very helpful. Thanks
Thank you I appreciate it! I'm trying to motivate as many mini truck owners as I can lol.
really clean good video
This is tight 👍🏽👍🏽
Got a 98, but im heading the "sleeper" direction and been building the engine w/ turbo.
Emberassing sports cars out on the road already and its not even close to done. YOTA LIFE 🤘🏽
Fuck yeah man. What kinda management are you going to use? Im about to do a hybrid 20r/22re build soon on this truck!
Fuck yeah man. What kinda management are you going to use? Im about to do a hybrid 20r/22re build soon on this truck!
I think it was a Garret T3 low boost (bought from co worker). No management yet, but that's next after I get these wheels and tires.
@@MikeLaRock88 if your tech savvy, id look into speediuno ecus, super cheap with easy tables, i know mega squirt sells a "plug and play" version for our trucks but theyre about 700+ bucks!
Smart young man!..you do a great job buddy!
thank you! i really do appreciate that :)
Keep the content coming!!!!!!!!!
trying bro im trying lol, gotta find some free time to work on the truck!
Hey dude I seen ur truck in person I love it it’s great 👍🏻
oh shit seriously? thanks man i appreciate it! :)
I'll have to see if I can do the balljoint flip to my Tarago, they use a pretty similar suspension setup! It's on bump stops and rides like ass hahaha
it should! i know the mazda guys do this method on their minitrucks. should give you abit of torsion travel back!
Awesome video planning on lowering mine the same way
i appreciate it brotha! and do it, it was way worth it. gave my truck a whole new life
Meditation :) I do Medication with my meditation lol nice Yota !
great minds think alike ;) thanks man i appreciate it!
himan nice vid, keep them coming man, im waiting myself till covids done here so i can inport a hilux to the netherlands. would love to see how the truck slides and keep up the buget drift build vids love them
HOLY GUACAMOLE , i never thought my vid would hit international waters lol, but i will do man! just settling down in the new home before i start working on it again.
@@GutZ_47 nice man got subbed so i will see 🤙🏽
Sweet truck man...I have one I'm planning on lowering myself
do it brotha! this thing has been super fun, especially with a welded diff
Lol i know the feeling! Im not maxed out on the torsion bar but damn close to it.
If you ever get a few hundred bucks to spend, i really recommend the drop spindles. Truck rides SUPER smooth now!
Cool video bro👌👍🤙
thanks brotha! i appreciate it
Do you get stop for having the head lights tape like that??is that legal??
Love the boost creeps hoodie
thank you!
hey man beautiful fitment isee ur stil lreplying to comments so imma give this a shot. im thinking about pulling my middle leaf spring to go lower, i have 4 inch blocks currently. will i have frame issue clearence or should i be good. thanks bro. idk if ur frame is notched or not. let me know dawg thanks!
Nah stock frame, you should be good, i have a few friends rocking mono leaf conversions with blocks (do NOT recommend, horrible ride) dont fully remove ur bumpstops, cut em down to about 3/4 inch
Did you drop your steering wheel
Nice truck bro. Interested in going same route on my 1982
Need to get this fool back on the grind ...
Great video
thanks! im still learning how to edit and stuff but i hope to get better soon

Sick vid and ratty truck geeza.
ayeeee thanks m8! :)
Thx for the video now i can drop my toy the right way hate ridin on jus torsion drop wat u got for the rear?
bro, i rode on cranked down torsions and blown shocks for a minute. it honestly rides so nice now, almost like a midrange coilover feel. gonna be making a video on how to drop the rear without using blocks soon, stick around!
also, im ridding on belltech 4 inch drop blocks, but i have spring assisted shocks in the rear cause i still like to load stuff in the back!

jesus, thats gonna make some serious fookin power mate!
Hey man I got a 90 2wd toyota pickup the setup you have fits mine but I wanted to know if it increases the turn angle, I dont need to lower it anymore.
tbh, the only way you can increase angle would be to cut your knuckles, but then you run into issues with ackerman changes if not done correctly. im assuming you already removed the steer stop bolts from the spindle? that should add maybe an extra 5 degrees but u might get rub on full lock especially if ur sliding. im gonna convert over to rack and pinion soon and might run a mk3 supra spindle/hub. from what ive read it increases angle quite abit due to knuckle location.
@@GutZ_47 thanks for the response, you got the same truck?. I haven't cut anything been trying to find best solution before I do so. Knuckle cutting is the biggest thing I see but I ran into a video of a guy using a bmw m3 control arm extender modifying it a bit so it sits more behind rotor he got really good angle just doing that, only thing is it bumps into seat bar so I'd have to modify that too. I'm thinking of doing that, seeing how the knuckle looks might cut it and extend it too. Then put a little hubsentric spacer on it if needed. I dont expect 90 degree turns but damn do I want close to it. I'm trying to go step by step so I dont regret a move after the fact.
Does the supra spindle and hub flush better or something
yeah mines a 91. and the supra spindle gives you better brake options, better hub bearing design, and also has a slightly shorter knuckle than trucks do so stock it adds abit of angle. not sure how much tho. i ordered some mk3 spindles on ebay, once they get here ill make a vid detailing the differences and install. you slide your truck? im guessing ur running into understeer under high angle?
@@GutZ_47 bet bro I'll be the first viewer, I haven't started sliding it yet. I'm doing a complete suspension and brake rebuild first. Then I'm welding a flatbed and taking the doors out for rollcage style doors so I can see through doors. It's a simple build. I've just been trying to find out how ima go about putting more steering angle on her. Less cutting and welding the better. Though I want enough that I can play with.
Hey I just got a Tacoma thats low. I wanted run a 15x10 i like how’s urs has a lil poke and stretch to it what would u recommend
fuckyeah man, unfortunately these trucks came with a shitty track width so a extremely high offset or wide wheel is the only way to get any sort of fender poke. if you want flush, 15x8 -0 to -15 offset will give you a nice fitment, if you want poke like mine, 15x10 -44 offset is the way to go. just a reminder tho, the wheels are heavy as HELL!
I-O GARAGE hey man beautiful truck, what’s the tire size your running I know it’s stretch?
@@silentassassin3086 it should be a 195/60r15 ! I get em on amazon for around 30 bucks a tire brand new, the brand is ohstu fp7000, these tires are made in the same factory as Kuhmo!
I-O GARAGE thanks I’ve been searching tire size to wrap on my 15x10s
Center drag link or King link
Do you have a link to the steering stabalizer that you used? I know you said the name, but I'm not finding it. Just picked up a 92 pickup myself and this video is a tremendous help as I am getting ready to do all of this to it.
yeah are you talking about the shock absorber? i actually went with a rough country kit since i was experiencing tramlining (steering wheel veers off to cracks in road) and it has made ALL the difference. www.roughcountry.com/steering-stabilizer-8735430.html?gclid=CjwKCAjww-CGBhALEiwAQzWxOi04kzThInJ5174LZtOoE2UNdsc420uSA9g8GGvSTMLFdip5-UcvxBoCwV0QAvD_BwE is the one im running right now
@@GutZ_47 yeah the shock absorber. Thanks! I'll check that one out.
@@GutZ_47 they say it doesn’t fit the 2WD. Did you have to do any mods to fit the steering stabilizer? Thanks
Anyone know if these drop spindles fit on a 75 Pickup?
The design looks super similar, is ur steering linkage front or rear mounted on the knuckle?
That thing is sweet
Thanks man! Its sweet to drive too 😈
Need more videos I have a one ton dually Toyota that I want to burn tires
Ill have some vids up soon! Just settling in to my new home
Bro how did you make your cluster work from the 4runner?
uhhhh im not sure? i got the truck with this cluster already in it. i assumed it was an sr5 cluster, ive never seen a regular pretaco with a tacho lol
What mini truck wheels are those with the crazy offset??
lol these are cragar v5, theyre 15x10 -44 offset, but they are extremely heavy, so id look for any aluminum wheel thats the same offset if you can!
What size tires are you running in this vid?
195/60

@@Doingitrightplumbing i deff recommend getting leaf spring helpers if you plan on welding the diff
That steering damper is Not meant to rebound, else it would push you off the road one way,
it stays where it is left and dampens the sharp movement either way.....
gotcha! good thing im going rack n pinion lol
Swap your front tires to the rear see if that changes the jumpyness.
I actually did that the day after the video and it did help a bunch. Im assuming my change in camber and alignment was the culprit!
Yo you got donut boost creeps hoodie?!
yessir!
Smaller wheels have to spin more times to go the same speed, so your speedo reads faster man. Side note: when did 'yota's get ABS?
Also torsion bars up front would slam it without spindles..twisting torsion bars plus spindles would be SLAMMED AF
Not sure exactly when but my 93 pickup has rear ABS

Hey what’s up bro quick question? Where are you located at ? Because I have a 1990 Toyota hilux and I want to drop it.
Central ca
Ohh ok Another question what kind of coilovers can I put on my truck?
@@miguelcoldivar2439 so theirs only 1 company i know of that makes coilover kits for our trucks, the site is called StabFab.com. Its a bit pricey but from what i hear your truck should handle like a car afterwards
@@GutZ_47 alright cool bro thanks 👍🏼 I’m going to check them out
I have a 1990 Toyota pick up and I need some coil-over, but can't find anything on Amazon or eBay and am all the way out in the Caribbean. Drop a link where I could get some 👇
as in you want to convert to coilovers? thats gonna be abit of cutting and grinding. for the front, you want to either fab up some shock towers or buy premade ones that match the coilover height youre gonna use, and also remove the torsion bar and key. Keep in mind that the front control arms are NOT designed for the abuse of a coilover so youre gonna have to reinforce them. for the rear, youre gonna have to do some serious fab work, decide between parallel 4 link or triangulated 4 link, and welding in supports on the frame to hold the coilovers (which means youre gonna have to cut the bed). depending on what link style you go with, you might have to relocate your fuel tank. YOU HAVE TO EITHER SQUARE NOTCH OR C NOTCH THE FRAME! *Now to answer your question about coilovers* there is no link unfortunately. you have to piece together a set of qa1 shocks to coil springs, which means youre gonna have to measure out the amount of travel youd like, your overall height, spring rate is relative to use so is it a burnout car, drag car, drift car, daily driver... its alot of work, i honestly recommend going the drop spindle/drop leaf route if you dont have fab equipment, but if you are experienced in fab work or know someone who is, this could all be done in a weekend! sorry i didnt have the exact answer you wanted!
@@GutZ_47 thanks for the info. Think I'll stay with my stock suspension. It's already lowered. Just a pain in the ass whenever I go to rural areas.

damn dude, mine is off by like 5 to 8 mph rn. if you remove your shifter housing off the tailshaft from inside the cabin, you should be able to see the small gear that goes onto the speedo cable, sometimes those gears fail since theyre made from plastic. you can also just pop it off at the trans and check it too, but sitting in the truck with the radio on seems nicer lol. if not your speedo cable mightve just took a dump.
