This is the exact truck that inspired me to build mine, always wanted a closer look at it. Perfect video, thanks! Give the weber a good cleaning and it should be good to go, no need to replace. I have the same one on mine and it sat for a while with old gas and needed a cleaning to run right.

@@teamnicejp it’s close to being road ready. I combined 2 rusty trucks to make 1 decent driver, been uploading progress as I go. It’s going to look a lot like yours, but with a lot of patina thanks to Ohio rust 😂 I love these old pickups and would save them all if I could.

To get it this low without damaging the torsion keys you have to re- index the bars by 2-3 teeth. I did 2 teeth on mine personally and it was more than enough. for the rear 3'' blocks and removing the center leaf from the pack will get you low but you'll need a c notch or you'll be almost resting on the frame. Also your fuel idle issue might be the fuel solenoid cut off (assuming that weber has one) my oe factory carb needed the solenoid wired straight to the battery in order to run / idle properly.

Also, an external fuel pump shouldn’t be needed with the Weber carb on this truck. I wonder if the pump is a bandaid fix for another fuel issue, maybe the reason it’s stalling.

Clean Mini.. you need to put the fuel pump closer to the fuel tank. About 12 inches from the tank.

They are 4x4 hilux stock fenders 4x4 are stock wider then the 2wd front fenders
