The last part of this video has very good advice, respect all builds no matter how big or small budget they are, the key is having fun and enjoying what you have :)
1991 Tyrota! The highest lowrider at my high school......Loved that ride! Cops hated it! There were 3 in the immediate area. Two medium reds and a black one. We would swap wheels frequently. I gained alot of points on my license in that mini. It was always during the day and for dumbshit....sinning tires, stop signs were a suggestion, left turns on a late yellow, pretty much red as front wheels crossed the line. But at night.....nope. All any of had to do was make it to a cloverleaf exit ramp and they never had a chance. The old boxy caprice classics were total slugs in turns.
When I had my hardbody I put a 2" & 3" blocks together for the back with 1 leaf spring n took the torsion bars off completely n it drove good for a 5" drop
A tip on how to pinstripe your rims without using a pinstriper. Spray the outer lip what ever color you want and when it dries get some 3M Blue Fine line tape. It's about 1/8 of a inch. Run the tape on the outer lip and then spray the rim what ever color you want. Let it dry then peel off the tape and you have a "pinstriped" rim.
Maybe a new project idea for you but do a hardbody and do stock floor and stock frame on air ride laying frame and do 4 link with using the stock front leaf spring hangers
tools imma na buy tmrw: methane/lpg torch, 12ton jack stands, 2 sets of 3" to become 6" blocks, 2000 - 5000grit sandpaper for my headlights restoration, paint&clearcoat, and set of punch rods for my k20swap ek hatch.
How do they ride on blocks?? Decent or is it a pain lol , just got my first mini a 89’ toyota can’t wait to do some mods to it definitely wanna lower it tho
watched ur vid and dropped my 85 yota mini. what shocks would u recommend for a stiff ride on a 4" block and torsion rod drop? my rear is bouncy AF. thanks
Like everyone else, awesome build. Could you provide the size of tires you used ? Also do you think the rims would rub in the front ( upper control arm grease fitting) if your truck wasn’t lowered? Thanks.
How do we fast forward to the future? Would like to see the juice and body drop. Was good to see ya and bs for 2 minutes while eating that BBQ on Saturday
Ok. Didn't know there was multiples. Just thought it was a 1 time thing. I'm gonna watch the previous episode again and hopefully take part this time in the no dick but fun get together
“Don’t be a dick , we are all in this together .” 👏🏻🤘🏻

Great video!! Here I was thinking I had to spend all this money to lower my 98 Taco 2-3 inches and you come up with this!! Seriously?! Great job!!
I have a 91 Toyota and i love the look of this truck lowered
12:29 butt cheek squeezed when you went under the truck without stands
El mejor video que he visto gracias

Yep. “Dummies together”!
Bad ass bro!!! Nice job!!! I own an 88 Toyota 22R 2.4L-5 speed pickup. It’s still kicking ass!!!
Dandy video. I definitely learned a lot. The sentiment is right on.
I like it. The wheels work has a good look 👌

Yup👍🏽 #dontbeadick we all need to start somewhere👍🏽

Awesome.

this is exactly what im doin to my 93 toyota pickup truck..i got no budget for bags or expensive coilovers
Doesn't the rear shock geometry stay the same since you lowered the shock mount the same distance?
How’s the alignment after the torsion crank ? Thinking about the same setup for my 92
Do the crown Vic lug nuts work on the Toyota wheel studs?
Don't be a dick. Best advise ever
I'm curious why you removed the leaf spring? Is the necessary, or..??
Do you guys know if this’ll work with the 2nd gen Tacoma as well?
Where did you get the pinstripe decal?
I am new to this project. Is that VW truck in the background good to go?
500 win!

Thank you
Can I buy the front bump stops if you still have them
What brand for the shorter shocks?
can u do this on the 94 hilux 4x4?
🤩❤️😍
Couldn’t you do a 4” block and not take the leaf spring out?
How do we fast forward to the future? Would like to see the juice and body drop. Was good to see ya and bs for 2 minutes while eating that BBQ on Saturday
