Both are awesome phones. But i will go with S22 Ultra cuz if i have money to pay SUV, i would like to have four wheeled-car with a lot of new features rather than just a bigger vehicle
Both phones are great. It's a matter of which platform, design, and features you prefer. I've been a long-time iPhone user, but when I tried out the S21 Ultra last year, I ended up really enjoying it a lot more and have preordered the S22 Ultra.
It just really depends on what ecosystem you like. I like the Apple ecosystem. My hubby likes the Samsung eco. It really just comes down to personal preference. Both are incredibly good phones. You’ll be happy with either.
Well said. I cannot stand Apple interface but most people love it. My thing is spec wise, ram for instance, blows apple out of the water. Android is more customizable than apple as well and you can change more settings. Ended up getting an iPad pro for school and it drove me crazy (still a great product though).
I’ve done that a few times when I got bored with iOS but the grass isn’t greener on the other side. After a few weeks I’m always fed up with the inconsistency in android and lack of certain apple services (not googles fault) and switch back again
I picked up a Samsung Galaxy S-22 Ultra back in April and I just love this phone because it checks off all the boxes that I need. Great display, good battery life and the S-pen that great for note taking and remote playback of videos. You can also use the S-pen as a remote control for taking pictures. I really enjoy my Samsung Galaxy S-22 Ultra phone!
i’m very surprised by how far samsung has come along with cameras they truly are amazing i am on the iphone 13 pro max witch i am in love with but man that s22 ultra is no slouch anymore very well done phone
The S22 does it all. I use both platforms, and have for years. The S22 is always the one that comes out of my pocket the most, as I use the camera more than anything. Zoom is great on it.
@@yod2189 no it won't. They will both last a long time. The Galaxy S22 ultra is getting 4 years of updates and by the time it gets all the updates most will have the newest best phones of that year anyways.
@@VisionaryTech I haven't had any issues with battery on my Galaxy S20 Ultra and I have had it for 2 years. My phone still lasts more than a full day. I just ordered the Galaxy S22 Ultra and I will be getting it shortly. Most people upgrade every 2-4 years so it doesn't matter.
Been a samsung guy forever, My wife and I upgraded to the iPhone 13 Promax and it is Awesome! Battery is unbelievably good! Images between the two are really not that discernable , The Awesome battery life was the determining factor!
Android won this. The iPhone dropped so much in the camera test compared to last year. Android really has done a good job, whilst iPhone just keeps on doing what they do, which is make a new design, with the same parts.
As a long time galaxy user I think the opposite mate . Yes the chipsets and cameras display have improved just as a matter of being more up to date tech , but a lot of what made galaxy phones desirable over the years is gone In my view the last good galaxy modesl was the 9 series , I’m still using my note 9 which in a lot of ways makes the current galaxy’s and most phones on the market even today look very low rent. Despite some good updated tech in the best galaxy you can buy today , they are really a poor relative of older full featured models in my view .
I switched to S22 ultra over the last weekend from iPhone 12 mini and I must admit, I'm liking the change and freshness the android and brilliant screen brings forward. I still miss the iOS for the reliability it offers as I never suffered stutters in between as against android. Coming to the phone, I'm amazed with it's wide variety of features it offers. Nevertheless, both are great in their own grounds. So the user is pretty in the win-win situation if they buy either one of these.

@@shazia2078 if you value 12 hour battery, excellent gaming performance, and best video quality stay with the 13 pro max The ultra has 8 hour battery life if you don't push it in my testing when I had the phone, but I returned it because when I played some games I'd get 5 hours of use before it fully drained Honestly the 14 pro max is right around the corner and will have autofocus on the front camera so there will be deciding between the two apple will be better for you imo🤷♂️
Until they offer a 6'9 inch screen and a Micro SD slot on a Samsung smartphone like I have on my Note20 Ultra again I don't think I can buy another Samsung smartphone 🤔. So I have to say the iPhone 13 Pro Max is better then the S22 Ultra.
In the camera test the iPhone did better with video and s22 did better in photos not including the night shots iPhone 13 pro: Video is better and night photos S22: better photos in day light
What a biased review.The Samsung opened apps quicker and launched the game quicker but you still use words like a little bit quicker which sounds like you're trying to save Apple's reputation .No it wasn't a little bit quicker, the Samsung was quicker period!!!
I've had both now, after using Android for well over 4 years. Of course I'm more used to Android and thus found it easier to navigate the S22 Ultra than the iPhone 13 Pro Max, but for that same reason, getting to try out the iPhone was more exciting. Also the battery is a lot better on the iPhone; Been using it 6 hours screen-on according to the stats, and it's still at almost 50%, that is without any charging or battery saver. This could improve for the Ultra though, considering it does have a bigger battery. When it comes to photos, the Samsung can take higher resolution photos, but the iPhone takes the photos a lot quicker, and the final product really comes down to taste in processing. Both have raw though so you could just edit them yourself. Been having the 13 way shorter than the Ultra but at the moment I'm more impressed by the 13.
I really want the S22 Ultra but the entire Apple Ecosystem outweighs the benefits for me. Though the Tab S8 Series is literally everything I wanted on the iPad apart from the lack of an M1 chip.

I keep seeing mixed reviews of the 22 ultra, but I'm so fascinated by the camera. I hate the camera on the iP12 pro max, and I'm so bored of iphones in general... the 22 ultra just looks much, much, much nicer.
The camera is pretty good on both of them, but the iPhone definitely is better when it comes to video. But in many scenarios. The Samsung is better when it comes to photos. It just depends what’s more important to you?

Both photos and videos are important to me, I can't decide between the two since I travel and love to take photos and video of the places I visit. That is why i'm having a hard time making a decision :\ If video on the s22 were as great as it is on iphone, I'd choose the 22 ultra hands down. The video aspect of the camera makes me really consider which phone I want to choose

After having android/samsungs my whole life and getting my first ever iphone xs in 2018, I'd have to go with iphone 13 pro. I'll never go back to android/samsung ever again
@@mightymouse1780 it's over rated to be honest ...they have issues just like android ....I had and iPhone 12 pro max ...the battery health dropped to 89 percent after only 6 months ......there not made to truly last ....and the longer u keep em ...ya battery life gets worst ,you get less off the new features ,and ya phone starts to act wonky ....but they never tell that part

Both phones look great. Since I’m in the apple ecosystem I’m staying with iPhone. Can’t wait to see what apple gives us this fall because I’m 13 Pro Max is awesome.
I'd give a slight edge to iphone in the video department otherwise there's really not much iphone could offer in comparison. Though it does feel Zollotech is an iphone lover taking points from samsung in many ways lol.
I have both. I normally get the newest Samsung phones as a secondary phone but this time around Im considering putting my primary sim in the device. The only deterring factors are the apple ecosystem and worse battery life. Other than that the S22 Ultra is amazing. The display is fantastic.
I have the S22 Ultra and the battery life is great. A full charge can last me a day and a half. With any phone it really depends on how you are using your phone as to how long the battery will last.
@@Actionjac1 this is true. But once you use the iPhone 13 pro max it’s clear who the battery champ is. All the tests you’ll find online show at least 2 hours extra battery life on average per day. After recent updates the S22 Ultra battery has improved and should last most people a full day.

For my white/silver 13 pro max I use the body glove case.. it’s perfect for my iPhone and isn’t too bulky.. it comes with a wrist lanyard that I regularly have around my wrist like a bracelet and it’s save my iPhone from several drops which I had an issue with for my last black iPhone 13 pro max that had apples leather mag safe case on it. I had it in my back pocket and my iPhone somehow slipped out of my back pocket and took a small fall with the leather case on it and the lcd had broke I’m assuming because my iPhone then had this white screen that wouldn’t change out of no matter what.. so I went and bought a brand new white 13 pro max with the body glove case and I’m in love with it
I had Samsung seens they came out and I got the s22 ultra and that changed my mined quit, it sounded like crap and not loud and i had a note 20 ultra that was a lot better than the new Samsungs, so I returned the s22 ultra and tryed the iPhone 13 pro max for the first time but it took a month or 2 but I will tell you I will never go back to Samsung or android again this iPhone is amazing compared to android, speaker sound so so much better and very loud and super bright display and no pop ups or viruse and a lot better updates with out making your phone crash a lot, my hole family has iPhones now and you can do so much togather on iphones, nomore 3third party apps that suck lol, all this time I been missing out and putting iPhone down too but iphone users were telling the truth I found out lol.
I stopped using iOS simply because I don't like the keyboard style of the iphone... It is not userfriendly & for me it is so hard to type on iphone without making mistyped words & editing the mistyped words makes it even worse.. android has complete flexibility when it comes to keyboard typing... If only iphone would change the keboard jjst like android then I will go back to using iphone..
Apple could easily incorporate multitasking, Always on display, usb c, customization, etc… why they don’t is beyond me. I have a hand me down iPhone as a back up device, but my sim card is always in an Android because I can customize the phone to my liking and needs.

The battle hasn't change, Apple brings their best than the Droids (particular the Galaxy) brings their best.... but to be honest, the Galaxy Note 4 took the Win and iPhone hasn't caught up yet...Apple lost, it's just fun now to see the friendly battle 🤷♂️
Awesome video!! I have to say that Samsung had come a long wsy n the last couple of years with their Galaxy S series of smartphones. In the end though it comes down to preference though with these phones you will not be disappointed as both these phones are the best in their respective brands.

Every time very nice informative reviews, these reviews should be more informative like this and let audience decide which is better. Everyone has different taste of life.
Both are great phones for sure and at the end it depends on which ecosystem / OS you prefer. I personally am much happier with iOS because it runs MUCH smoother. Even at 120Hz Android just doesn't runs as smooth as iOS - it's not even close when you care about details. Zooming in the camera always stutters even on the S22 Ultra and never goes smoothly. Also scrolling through lists etc. or more specifically at the end of lists, iOS has this "rebounce" effect which makes the whole experience MUCH smoother than this horrible Android version which just straight up stops without any animation. iOS is also much better optimized when it comes to stuff like the adaptive refreshrate which actually results in better battery life. And also Edge displays are just garbage, sorry. They're literally bad design. The brightness falls down on the edges which looks terrible and super cheap PS: Those 1750 nits are bs. The Display can only achieve these brightnesses on a SUPER tiny spot at once which makes it completely useless. The normal max brightness is less than 700 nits - compared to Apples 1000 nits. Android manufacturers always like to "fake" these numbers. That's also why the S22 Ultra definitely has NOT the best display out there. Not even close. Especially the rounded edge is destroying it completely. Same goes for the "45W" charging because in reality it NEVER reaches these 45W and only peaks at 30-35W for literally a few seconds. It charges just as fast as their 25W, not faster.
I've had an iPhone 13 Pro Max since October. Just bought the green S22U. I just don't personally care for iOS. As far as camera I'd say for photos Samsung for video iPhone.

@@connordavis2142 I'm using my iPhone for my business number now and my Samsung for my personal number. They trade blows but if I had choose between them I'd still choose the Samsung. The battery doesn't keep up with the iPhone but it has improved with updates.
My whole family uses Apple Phones and i am the only one that uses Samsung. I just got the Samsung S22 ULTRA in green-my favorite color, and I love everything about my new Samsung S22 Ultra phone, and the colors is very vivid and clear on the screen and in photos. This is the best cel phone that I've have had, so far.

Also the Note20 will still get the same updates as the S22 Ultra until Android 13 or 14. So really you aren't getting much of an upgrade.

Iphones would be awesome to have if I wasn't so spoiled with all that Samsung has to offer in a phone.

That aside, the Anker Nano II (the 65 watt) is good charger for my laptop based on my use.
What a biased review.The Samsung opened apps quicker and launched the game quicker but you still use words like a little bit quicker which sounds like you're trying to save Apple's reputation .No it wasn't a little bit quicker, the Samsung was quicker period!!!

I've had both now, after using Android for well over 4 years. Of course I'm more used to Android and thus found it easier to navigate the S22 Ultra than the iPhone 13 Pro Max, but for that same reason, getting to try out the iPhone was more exciting. Also the battery is a lot better on the iPhone; Been using it 6 hours screen-on according to the stats, and it's still at almost 50%, that is without any charging or battery saver. This could improve for the Ultra though, considering it does have a bigger battery. When it comes to photos, the Samsung can take higher resolution photos, but the iPhone takes the photos a lot quicker, and the final product really comes down to taste in processing. Both have raw though so you could just edit them yourself. Been having the 13 way shorter than the Ultra but at the moment I'm more impressed by the 13.

I really want the S22 Ultra but the entire Apple Ecosystem outweighs the benefits for me. Though the Tab S8 Series is literally everything I wanted on the iPad apart from the lack of an M1 chip.

I keep seeing mixed reviews of the 22 ultra, but I'm so fascinated by the camera. I hate the camera on the iP12 pro max, and I'm so bored of iphones in general... the 22 ultra just looks much, much, much nicer.
The camera is pretty good on both of them, but the iPhone definitely is better when it comes to video. But in many scenarios. The Samsung is better when it comes to photos. It just depends what’s more important to you?
@@zollotech Good point, I have seen in every camera comparison that video is superb on iphones. Both photos and videos are important to me, I can't decide between the two since I travel and love to take photos and video of the places I visit. That is why i'm having a hard time making a decision :\ If video on the s22 were as great as it is on iphone, I'd choose the 22 ultra hands down. The video aspect of the camera makes me really consider which phone I want to choose

Apple for me feels better because of how smooth the apps are. iOS updates and ecosystem I enjoy. Also battery optimization is better on iOS.

I prefer android with customising but got the pro max this year and I’ve got to agree everything is just consistent and the battery is immense

I'd give a slight edge to iphone in the video department otherwise there's really not much iphone could offer in comparison.

I have both. I normally get the newest Samsung phones as a secondary phone but this time around Im considering putting my primary sim in the device. The only deterring factors are the apple ecosystem and worse battery life. Other than that the S22 Ultra is amazing. The display is fantastic.
I have the S22 Ultra and the battery life is great. A full charge can last me a day and a half. With any phone it really depends on how you are using your phone as to how long the battery will last.
@@Actionjac1 this is true. But once you use the iPhone 13 pro max it’s clear who the battery champ is. All the tests you’ll find online show at least 2 hours extra battery life on average per day. After recent updates the S22 Ultra battery has improved and should last most people a full day.

For my white/silver 13 pro max I use the body glove case.. it’s perfect for my iPhone and isn’t too bulky.. it comes with a wrist lanyard that I regularly have around my wrist like a bracelet and it’s save my iPhone from several drops which I had an issue with for my last black iPhone 13 pro max that had apples leather mag safe case on it. I had it in my back pocket and my iPhone somehow slipped out of my back pocket and took a small fall with the leather case on it and the lcd had broke I’m assuming because my iPhone then had this white screen that wouldn’t change out of no matter what.. so I went and bought a brand new white 13 pro max with the body glove case and I’m in love with it
I had Samsung seens they came out and I got the s22 ultra and that changed my mined quit, it sounded like crap and not loud and i had a note 20 ultra that was a lot better than the new Samsungs, so I returned the s22 ultra and tryed the iPhone 13 pro max for the first time but it took a month or 2 but I will tell you I will never go back to Samsung or android again this iPhone is amazing compared to android, speaker sound so so much better and very loud and super bright display and no pop ups or viruse and a lot better updates with out making your phone crash a lot, my hole family has iPhones now and you can do so much togather on iphones, nomore 3third party apps that suck lol, all this time I been missing out and putting iPhone down too but iphone users were telling the truth I found out lol.

I stopped using iOS simply because I don't like the keyboard style of the iphone... It is not userfriendly & for me it is so hard to type on iphone without making mistyped words & editing the mistyped words makes it even worse.. android has complete flexibility when it comes to keyboard typing... If only iphone would change the keboard jjst like android then I will go back to using iphone..

Apple could easily incorporate multitasking, Always on display, usb c, customization, etc… why they don’t is beyond me. I have a hand me down iPhone as a back up device, but my sim card is always in an Android because I can customize the phone to my liking and needs.

The battle hasn't change, Apple brings their best than the Droids (particular the Galaxy) brings their best.... but to be honest, the Galaxy Note 4 took the Win and iPhone hasn't caught up yet...Apple lost, it's just fun now to see the friendly battle 🤷♂️

Awesome video!! I have to say that Samsung had come a long wsy n the last couple of years with their Galaxy S series of smartphones. In the end though it comes down to preference though with these phones you will not be disappointed as both these phones are the best in their respective brands.

Both are great phones for sure and at the end it depends on which ecosystem / OS you prefer.
I personally am much happier with iOS because it runs MUCH smoother. Even at 120Hz Android just doesn't runs as smooth as iOS - it's not even close when you care about details. Zooming in the camera always stutters even on the S22 Ultra and never goes smoothly. Also scrolling through lists etc. or more specifically at the end of lists, iOS has this "rebounce" effect which makes the whole experience MUCH smoother than this horrible Android version which just straight up stops without any animation.
iOS is also much better optimized when it comes to stuff like the adaptive refreshrate which actually results in better battery life.
And also Edge displays are just garbage, sorry. They're literally bad design. The brightness falls down on the edges which looks terrible and super cheap
PS: Those 1750 nits are bs. The Display can only achieve these brightnesses on a SUPER tiny spot at once which makes it completely useless. The normal max brightness is less than 700 nits - compared to Apples 1000 nits. Android manufacturers always like to "fake" these numbers. That's also why the S22 Ultra definitely has NOT the best display out there. Not even close. Especially the rounded edge is destroying it completely.
Same goes for the "45W" charging because in reality it NEVER reaches these 45W and only peaks at 30-35W for literally a few seconds. It charges just as fast as their 25W, not faster.
There are definitely big difference between 25w and 45w.

@@connordavis2142 I'm using my iPhone for my business number now and my Samsung for my personal number. They trade blows but if I had choose between them I'd still choose the Samsung. The battery doesn't keep up with the iPhone but it has improved with updates.

I just got the Samsung S22 ULTRA in green-my favorite color, and I love everything about my new Samsung S22 Ultra phone, and the colors is very vivid and clear on the screen and in photos.
