Indian ocean is 3000 kms from Yemen. With $ 618 per capita income(roughly one fifth of India) houthis and Yemen are dirt poor and 3:30 facing major famine. Wheat their staple food is imported from USA, Australia and india. Firing missiles at sundry passing ships wont the ground situation in gaza ir Lebanon. Houthis basicslly hope to extract loot much like Somalians. If wheat exports are blocked civilian population in Yemen would suffer. India should not waste time on these fellows with nothing.

Who gave the authorities to protect safety of Indian ocean to India? Indian ocean is for all non western Southern nations and India is only one of the tens of the Eastern nations.
