I am a Malaysian. I have stopped eating at American fast-food franchise outlets for nearly two years already and switched to locally established brands.
The boycott campaign in our country is just a mere extension of a lifestyle I abandoned long ago. But to show my support, I have informed RUclips not to show me their advertisement on the videos that I watch anymore.

I'm from Malaysia, the fact is on a good day 80% of fast food customers are muslims. And all of the 100+ outlets that have shut down are in 90% muslim residents rural area.
The city and metropolis is doing fine as usual.
