i have all of my childhood gba games that i haven't added on to in probably 5 years, and i was actually surprised by how many of these i have, amazing system. wish i hadn't massacred every box i ever got My nephew and i are very close, were certainly not father and son, but i have been able to show him video games in the same manor you talk about your son and its an incredibly fulfilling moment. when they just 'get it' so innocently and truthfully, its a magical thing man great vid as always, cant wait for the xbox vid!

I, unfortunately, never played the GBA back in the day, so I picked myself an AGS-101 and just finished "The Minish Cap" and "Ninja Five-0". I was looking for more games to play, and what do you know, I received a notification on my phone about this video. Now I have an entire list of games to get into, thanks to you as always!
The GBA SP is my favorite handheld system of all time. Some of my favs were Ninja 5-O, I had a sealed copy and sold it back a few years, number one regret. Shining Force Resurrection of the Dark Dragon and Summon Night SwordCraft Story were good. Recently playing Mother 3 fan translation, and the Binding Blade. Love the backwards compatibility for the entire gameboy family, and I play all my original GB/GBC titles on it. Thanks for a cool video, one day I'll showcase my modest collection of games and systems.
Great video bro. Loved the gba and still have mine with a TON of games for it. Always a treat admiring the background of your room. These games are 21st century pieces of history AND culture of our time, and I'm happy to have been apart of one of the earlier generations that got to experience this from the start. I have purchased all of these on the Wii U virtual console that are available which surprisingly is most of them. The Wii U has become my favorite console of all time. Oh man, so many great games. One game no one talks about is TMNT based on the 2007 movie. It's not just not a port of the console versions. It's an old school beat em up. It has the same feel as the arcade game and Turtles in Time.

The GBA holds up so well and I'm always keen to go back and play some of the great games it has. I got an SP for Christmas, and it was such a godsend since I'd been using a GBC.. It's amazing what a bright screen and rechargeable batteries can do for you!

Very nice list I would add from the Pokemon Series Emerald and Firered/Leafgreen both tons of hours of content with lots of postgame content and look great for today standards. As well as Pokemon mystery dungeon red - unique story that was a good tearjerker when I was younger and great game that breaks the mold of the generic gym leaders battle in the regular pokemon games for people that want something different, the ds explorers of sky is also fantastic game. Great system, back then I was in a new town for a practical and all I had was my GBA with FF6 and castlevania. No TV, no internet, no friends, but my GBA and me still had a pretty good time...
Jens Kolk funny how the simple things are all you need sometimes...I find myself doing that on most Sundays..turn off the phone and tune everything out...dog into a stack of Genesis games and just go back in time...a simpler time.

First off, I adore your videos so much. Plz, keep them the way you're doing it now. I only miss one thing. Me living in Croatia my English is not the best. While written English is quite easy to understand, fluently spoken english I have to concentrate to understand. And sometimes (not in this video btw) I absolutely have no clue what game you are talking about, when I miss you saying the title. Then I end up pressing my nose on the screen to identify the cover. Even automated subtitles don't always help. Therefore it would be helpful if you could pop in the cover of the game when you start talking about it. That would be very helpful, especially when I dont't know the game you're talking about. Last off, what about an honorable mentions video for the GBA? You didn't mention some very good games, which is understandable looking at that library of awesome games for the system. Games like Super Robot Taisen, Final Fight One (which is the best of the entire franchise, except for the arcade original), F-Zero MV, Godzilla Domination and all those other ports of previous stationary consoles.

I hacked my N3DS XL and installed over 55 GBA titles. They are emulated in the Virtual Console but the hackers cleaned up the ghosting problem. My family couldnt afford me a GBA back in the early 2000s so I missed the awfully short era of the gba.

Has anyone ever heard of the Boktai games? I always thought the concept of needing to take the game outside was such an unusual concept for an rpg. From the mind of Hideo Kojima though. He always thinks outside the box.

Final fantasy tactics was one of my favorite in gba games
I played and finished Doom for the first time on Game Boy Advance! It was awesome! :)
An other game I enjoyed back then was the first Harry Potter game!

First off, I adore your videos so much. Plz, keep them the way you're doing it now.
I only miss one thing. Me living in Croatia my English is not the best. While written English is quite easy to understand, fluently spoken english I have to concentrate to understand. And sometimes (not in this video btw) I absolutely have no clue what game you are talking about, when I miss you saying the title. Then I end up pressing my nose on the screen to identify the cover. Even automated subtitles don't always help. Therefore it would be helpful if you could pop in the cover of the game when you start talking about it. That would be very helpful, especially when I dont't know the game you're talking about.
Last off, what about an honorable mentions video for the GBA? You didn't mention some very good games, which is understandable looking at that library of awesome games for the system. Games like Super Robot Taisen, Final Fight One (which is the best of the entire franchise, except for the arcade original), F-Zero MV, Godzilla Domination and all those other ports of previous stationary consoles.

I have Rebel Star: Tactical Command and it is one of my favorites
I hacked my N3DS XL and installed over 55 GBA titles. They are emulated in the Virtual Console but the hackers cleaned up the ghosting problem. My family couldnt afford me a GBA back in the early 2000s so I missed the awfully short era of the gba.

GameBoy Punk shit man, I had Double Dragon for the GBA at one point.. Final fight one as well, but the Sega CD version is my favorite ever.

Has anyone ever heard of the Boktai games? I always thought the concept of needing to take the game outside was such an unusual concept for an rpg. From the mind of Hideo Kojima though. He always thinks outside the box.
Justin Brown yea man, i bought the first one day 1....that sun sensor was no joke, if there wasn't sun outside you didn't advance..,I love the concept and all..,but damn! Lunar Knights is the continuation of the series on DS and it's really good!
