Since you're now in Nevada it must be refreshing to have access to more firearms for review.
I realize it is kinda randomly asking but does anybody know of a good site to stream new tv shows online?
@Jon Terrence flixportal xD
@Elian Kalel thank you, I signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there =) I appreciate it !!
@Jon Terrence happy to help xD
One of my favorite shooting Sigs. This one is very accurate. Definitely worth the purchase price.
First things I bought moving to Vegas was a real AR15, SIG M17 and HkVP9SK.
Welcome to the battle born state.
How do you like that VP9?
You take damn good photos for your thumbnails/video. Great music as well. Awesome places to shoot, too! I trust your work.
I bought a M17 w/safety at the end of last year. I REALLY wanted to hate it, but as soon as I felt it I knew it was going to be great. I was one of the original P250 owners who went nearly a decade without grip modules and parts despite Sig's promises, so I thought of the P320 like a striker fired version of the same abortion. It has been 100% reliable, accurate, great trigger, super controllable.
Just picked this gun up from a Fl. dealer. I would say it better than the beretta we had on active duty. Nice choice U.S. Army. It came with 3 magazines, 1-17 round mag and 2-21round mags. The joy living in Florida.
I picked one up 2 months ago and love it.
A few months ago I bought the Sig M17 pistol that has the safety. Fired over 100 rounds with no stove-pipe or jam.
11B Retired I would hope not for only 100 rounds!
Great review. A couple details need clarification. Sig changed more than just the trigger shoe in the upgrade. Also since it is cut for the DeltaPoint Pro, you can use the rear sight that attaches to the DeltaPoint Pro along with adding a suppressor height front sight.
I got a standard p320 carry and the gun that the frame was originally used for the p250. I love them both. The p250 wasn't very popular and faded out of production pretty quickly but it's in my opinion the best hammer fired DAO polymer framed pistol i ever fired. I still use it as my edc even after purchasing and reliability testing the p320.
Ooooh yeeeaaahh brother! Intro music got me pumped!
I just got my sig p320, best decision I've made with a pistol. Stock night sights, and great trigger. Couldn't ask for more
No safety is always the best version
Nice review! I love my M17.
What holster is that? Love your videos. Keep it up and thank you for the info.
I bought one couple months ago I like
I just got a gen5 Glock 17 MOS and the sig P320 full size and I love the sig didn’t think I would but it’s awesome going to get the M17 next and gen5 Glock 19 MOS Congrats on the move bitter sweet I know but for the best
Great review, nice looking gun. Would love to have one.
Donated to FPC,GOA, and buckeye firearms association yesterday
I love mine have had it just a few days, only difference is mine came with 1 17 round mag, and 2 21 round mags, I like that.
Kind of a trip, the one I had come through the shop today came with one 17 round magazine, and two 21 rounders.
Mine too.. Bought it from Gander going outta business sale. 549. Plus tax. I'm happy devil dawg.
Bobro Engineering is coming up with their own plates for optics that include a rear suppressor height sights
I just ordered the Bobroengineering optic adapter plate for Trijicon RMR and it has a rear sight built in to it.
Much like the X-Five, remove the rear sight plate and install a red dot like the Romeo1 and co-witness with the taller Dawson Precision fiber optic front sight. The M17 is fitted for a Luepold Delta Pro, which you can attach a rear backup sight to the optic (sold separately) and co-witness with a suppressor height front sight.
I just got mine and I just ordered the LeopoldDeltaPoint pro and I also ordered the iron sights for the rear that attach to it so they did think about having backup
I always keep one of the no-safety M17s in stock. Super popular.
I just picked one up today at Gander. Mine came with two 21 round magazines and one 17 round magazine.
Same here. Love those extra capacity mags.
You're gonna need a new safe soon. lol. I'm glad you're in a free state now!
Just bought For my M-17 Crimson CR-204 Laser Green Dot & Light. Bottom Rail. Awesome. Make Sure Put Bridge on, Comes W it, or Will Fly Off!
May I suggest one quick mod that will really help this already sweet shooting gun? Sig now offers the flat 90° break trigger from their X-series pistols and it’s a beauty! $50 plus shipping from the Sig store. Since it’s not a true M17 this might not be a problem for you but really improves the shooting experience.
I have the older (pre-recall, but sent in for the mods) “civilian” model and there are a couple of other minor differences. No optics cut and the grip module goes all the way to the end of the slide where the M17 is trimmed back an inch or so. And, again, the X trigger makes a world of difference.
Great information!!!!! More please????
Recently got the m18 and it has been flawless to date. Mine has the frame mounted safety.
Maybe you could tell me more about your thoughts on carry with safety off? Safe? Unsafe?
I know my Glocks and Shields do not have safeties, but for some reason it just seems different on the m18?
I have the same one and it came with 2x21 round mags and a 17 round mag
An ‘M17’ with no safety is just a standard 320 with a ‘carry’ grip module, peanut butter brown paint, and a 20% markup. Change my mind. ;)
Exactly! In addition the M17 slide is engraved with M17. This one is clearly engraved P320. Someone paid way too much for a M17 patch...
Well, this is my safety sir 👉
You delta boys are a bunch of undisciplined cowboys...
World Traveler东北 literally watched this last night 😂
Griffin Hosey A few weeks ago here. It had been a long time.
Ok, Hoot! 😁
I like the safety, when i show others to shoot, good training tool. Inuse it as a self for my thumb when I use it in competition. But u need the extended slide catch with the safety. N the real m17s slide is full mass, p320m17/p320s have ligthen slides.
A bit late to the party, but I just picked up my own M17 with the safety. Digging it so far. Ordered some parts to convert it to the non safety version and a wilson combat full length grip.
I plan at some point of picking up the new Trijicon rmr adapter sights for the M17/M18. Not sure on reviews yet, as it appears to be brand new. Finally use my rmr on a pistol instead of my shotguns.
The Army does use hollow points now, in pistols. The M1153 Special Purpose cartridge is the new issue carry round for the M17/18 and is made by Winchester. The Army calls it "Ball, jacketed hollow point." The M1152 is an FMJ load, but it's the practice round. But the M1153 is pretty much just a +P 147 grain Winchester Ranger SXT. The US was never restricted to FMJ because we never signed the 1899 Hague Declaration anyway, but we did it voluntarily. Regardless they determined that modern pistol JHP's don't fit the criteria of what the Hague Declaration was prohibiting anyway.
That's just their way of getting around all the legal ramifications of admitting you use hollow points. Just say it's a special purpose round and make up some phony line as to why it is beneficial to the average soldier.
The only way I’m getting one of those is to to move out of CA too. Or pay twice as much for a used off roster one sold by a cop. Smh damm CA!!
David Ramirez love how cops have extra rights
Or build your own
I like the factory grip but the medium is a tad bit too big for me. Ordered a small factory grip and a wilson combat grip to see which feels better in my hands.
Love my M17!
Thanks for another well-done and informative review. How does it feel to no longer live behind enemy lines?
In N.Y. it comes with 3 Ten Round mags
Isn’t it great leaving CA and buying any handgun you want?!?!?
This makes me love to be American
I have the commemorative I love it
Lucky bastard...your grandkids are going to score big someday. Lol
Or the government will take it away when they start confiscating fully semi-automatic assault pistols
I still have not come across an M17 no saftey version at any of the shops near me.
Congrats brotherman. This would be my first purchase if I ever move out of Comifornia. Happy for ya.
I love mine so much. Just over 5000k rds threw it, n just had my first failure couple weeks ago at a competition. It was a double feed i believe. So theres that but 1 in 5k+ thats a winner. The trigger gets so much better the more you shoot it, its 6lbs. My xfive its def lighter 4 lbs but not as crisp, n reset very long on xfive imo. Havent decided on thebxfive trigger yet. But love them both!
THIS GUN IS THE HARDEST ONE TO FIND. NO ONE WANTS A EXTERNAL SAFETY! GREAT VIDEO AND INFO!
Took me about 2 times out with mine and now the external safety is just fine... No problem....
The military controls are all black. The Coyote controls are only for those submitted to the MHS trials and the commemorative. Every issued one I have seen has black controls.
Hi, Just purchased same exact handgun as yours but I preferred the one with manual safety. I just wanna ask if I can still put a manual safety with this model? Thanks
I have the same gun ,but it came with 1standard 17 round mag and 2 extra 21 round mags,I have searched and cant find any info on it
doesn't the optic have the rear sight post built into the back of the optic? Maybe that happened after this release since I'm a little late on my post?
Just like my P365 case the hinge pins are so easy to pull out it negates the lock holes on the front :-) I wish I had waited for the brown P365 :-) I love my P365
Just buy the brown frame and slide and swap out your trigger control module.
What are you going to do when Tundra Tactical Comes to town. I just heard he is moving to Nevada as well.
Now your in vegas have you been out to Clark county shooting complex. And what you think of the place.
Awesome, I was trying to see if they sold the m17/m18 without a safety.
You can remove the manual safety of you want for about $20 in parts.. not hard to do.
I’m kinda ticked cause I live in Texas and when got my m17 a couple days ago I got the 10 round mags
Is the manual safety that cumbersome that you'd want one w/out? My regular 320, glocks, p365 has no safety and its not a big deal but but is the one on the m17 that much of an issue? I've not seen an m17 on the shelf withOUT the safety.
Not that big of a deal if you train on the draw and hit the safety. You can also remove the safety. It takes about $20 for a part or 2 and not hard to do.
So cool.
I have only one safety on my hand gun, FN FNS9 and it is my trigger finger which requires my brain to work! That is all I need!
Sick ass shirt. How is Vegas.
I bought one recently didn’t come with the patch not a big deal but why would they take it out
good video
Mine came with one 17round mag and two 21 round magazines.
I guess they are now selling military surplus M17 & 18's. Seems a lot of them have a lot of wear.
I recognize that range , maybe I’ll see you there one day
which range is this?
Mitch Villa Clark county range , it’s huge
YAAA...A sig ! God Bless ya Lad ! hahaha
What's model is the olight?
This is my first firearm, bought it yesterday. Sadly I can't find 9mm ammo anywhere. doh!
Is it possible I could order it in green I’m not a big fan of the coyote brown and I have no plants live in the desert I live in Florida everything is green unless you go to the beach then it’s like white sugar / I personally really like the green that comes on the 357 Chiappa rhino I normally don’t go for Sig’s but I want this one to go with that new flux M 17 and just like this one I want the no safety I think it considering I’m only gonna stick it straight into the flex it’s not gonna be necessary in but if I do I always take off my safeties anyway on my handguns it’s just pointless I think it’s more dangerous to have a safety on a hand gun but that’s just me and my training
Mine came with 1-17 round and 2-21 round mags. No safety ect..
will 10 round mags fit
Is it California compliant?
Does anyone know if you can get the M18 without a safety?
I got so lucky I got two 21 round mag and one 17 round just got it today
What’s the big deal about the safety? It doesn’t obstruct your hand placement and you can just have it in the unsafed position at all times if you want.
Too bad CA freedom week didn’t include firearms.
A hole in the top of it so you can see the brass is ridiculous. That hole is pretty damn big sand can get in there easily and lock the damn thing up.
Is Sig M17 better or the Smith&Wesson M&P9 M2.0 better?
Id say they both are reliable and quality fire arms its just preference .. Although i just dont like how smith and wesson handguns look
aye i went to that range with my grandpa
Just bought mine last weekend and wanted one without the safety, but my dealer acted like those are less plentiful and didn't have one. It's the only pistol I own with a safety (I'm a Glock and revolver fan), even my P365 XL doesn't have one. But it's not a huge deal, clicks on and off easily enough and I'm getting used to it.
Just remove it
@@trail_berserker9446 I did. Removed it entirely from my collection. Traded it for a CZ P10c.
Where did you get that shirt, it's dope!
Enjoying your new foud freedom I see now that you live in a state where they don't hate you.
Interesting, mine came with two 21-round mags and one 17-round mag.
Mine too.
Ditto
this is standard on this model
Damn dude you look happier since you escaped commifornia 🤔🤔🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Kenny Stalter can’t blame him 😂😂😂
Lucky..
After seeing the lawsuit against sig an the p320 just going off all on its own I'm not sure if I want to buy one
Negligent discharges from poorly trained cops using the wrong holsters.
Clark County shooting complex nice people there
Look at you buy hand gun no long under the California list must be nice
Why would you want a no safety??
"Purchase who uses that term"
So safety or no safety? I want to pick one up, my local gunshop has one without the safety. Gimmi your opinions.
Did u get the m17? I recomend u saftey if ur new to guns its safer ,and well with out saftey if u know whats up just be careful with the holsters theres been sevral accidents so get a hard plastic holster that way the triger dosent get caught up and shoots it selft the leather ones are the ones causeing accidents just saing thats if ur gona carry out there if not ur good to go lyk ppl say the big saftey is the f👉nger
@@BlackSkuLL4u2 I'm pretty experienced with guns, I did end up picking it up. Most accurate pistol I've ever fired. I don't know if it's the pistol being so well built or how many rounds of practice I've had with it haha. Hard kydex holster from bravo concealment. No safety but that hard holster is the safety. My Glock and xds don't have safeties 🤷 one less thing to worry about if you ever have to draw your pistol
@@seth1530 yea i bought the m17 with out saftey i picked the one with saftey but i told the guy to give me one from the back cause the one on display had scratches so the one he gave me from the back didnt had saftey and i didnt relized sence i was doing the paper work while he got one from the back and was doing the call for background check today i was going to the range to finally tested out and took it out of the safe and was cheking it out and was lyk wtf no saftey🤷🏽♂️ me and my dad end up going to the range sence he bought a hand gun today and wanted to tested out to we went and it was closed cause of 4july🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
@@seth1530 but yea one more thing not to worry about ima look at it at the bright side a faster gun for night home invation hey i was cheking out the night sights on the m17 and dam...nice and bright🥰 over all nice looking gun love it cant wait to shoot it i keep hearing there so accurate 😮
@@BlackSkuLL4u2 came back to give an update. Since getting the pistol I've put roughly 1200 rounds through it with no issues. Took a little while to find the 21 round mags. No complaints, sweet gun.
Could someone tell me the name of that light please
Yes, probably a TLR-1 HL Streamlight
It’s an Olight Valkary
I don't understand why people would carry this without a manual safety. It doesn't have a glock style trigger or grip safety or even a hammer fire design where you could leave it in an uncocked position for double action.
To carry safely one would have to leave the chamber empty and carry "experts" would have a cow over that. I don't care what kind of a case a person uses for carry, the chances of this having a negligent discharge is relatively high. You can argue against that, but we are human and dischargers happen more often when inserting or removing a pistol from carry cases or other devices. I would not buy this pistol without a manual safety.
Are they California compliant I want one
Fernando Almanza nope
@@THEZWARRIORWAR thanks for the info
In my opinion the high bore actually is a plus because if you learn to shoot on a sig and learn to manage that extra recoil because of the higher recoil design then when you drop down to a Glock or even an XD you can manage the recoil even better and have even more control

Aka, widowmaker
Strange, my M-17 came in a standard Sig case.
I have one and I will never part with it!!!
