STAIN COLOR: We use the same stain combination for the entire house as we LOVE how it looks. We did two coats of the Weathered Oak as we need some gray and just one coat of the Early American.

Very nice, except I don't like all the mini clips hiding the finished product. Its hard to see what it looks like when you have little video blocks covering it up.
Yes! And it doesn't really matter what you use. In another room, we even just just board and kept them really close together and you can't even tell they aren't the expensie boards.

If you pin this, you won't need to answer the same question over and over again.
That's so wonderful! Thanks so much for sharing.:)
Fabulous!! I love it
Thank you so much.

Thank you for the kind words, Susan.
Wow. This is absolutely beautiful. Do you mind me asking how much that ceiling cost for that room? Thank you
Very nice, what color stain and how much prepping to the pine did you do?
We share all the details in the post, it's a beautiful combination.

This looks so nice! I’m going to try and do this in our kitchen to cover up the popcorn ceiling. Can I ask what size pine boards you used?
That would look beautiful!
You need to sand it first
Those were likely 6” boards. You would need to use battons if going over popcorn ceiling.
Did you leave gap spaces for expansion?
We did not. There was plenty room already.

Size of boards?
We used 6-inch boards.
How would one hang by themselves if you don’t have someone to hold the other end?
You really would need another person to help hold the other end.
What is the saw?
Looks real nice but should have done the beam with 45 degree cut. You wouldn't see any line on the beam
We thought of that and since this was a laundry, didn't think the extra work was needed. Good thinking!
Are the planks a certain type? They almost look tongue and groove

✔round of applauses!!! absolutly amazing !!!! mine will look better tho... cool video.
Mateo, I'm so glad you enjoyed the video. That's great that you can do a better plank ceiling, we are new to all of this. :)
Hi whe can i order the wood you use for ceiling ? Thank you
Menards, HomeDepot and Lowe's all carry the wood. :)
What color stain did you use?
Daniel, we love Weathered Oak + Early American for our stain color. It's a beautiful combination.
