Something called "swing steering assist" has also been confirmed. It controls how much the game assists you when swinging. 10 is the swinging we've had, and 1 is going to be "a fully physics-based swing system". Pretty exciting levels of customization.
If that's true I'm turning on the lowest setting it would be sick if a bit more skill was involved with Web swinging as in real life it would take tonnes of maths/physics to get used to I think Tom Hollands spiderman mentioned this

1 little thing to note for settings, it's confirmed you can change ease of web swinging with a slider, starting at 10 for box standard swinging and you can lower it for more of a challenge and more precise swinging 👍
Cool. One thing I hoped they would improve was the engagement of traversal. It feels great already, but is mostly braindead "hold R2" for any traversal. Fall damage, wingsuit, increased speed, etc sounds great.

I think the length of the game is perfect. I just replayed the first ge in preparation and so I can play the remaster in PS5, and it's honestly the perfect length for the type of game it is. Long enough where you feel like the story wasn't rushed and you can get a good amount of play time, but short enough where I can realistically finish it without feeling burned out and see myself replaying it at some point down the line.
I whole heartedly agree, I got a PS5 back in July , and played the remastered version. The game length is just fine, I 100% completed all the dlc, and trophies , also platinumed miles for a second time, which took me until this month lol. Can’t wait to platinum this game too.

Dude I've done the same except the first game is stuck at an infuriating 99 percent because I lost my save file so close to the end of NG+ I just gave up on that achievement 😭
@@356zhe means symbiote, which I didn’t expect the first one to have at all. And I personally think introducing symbiote in the second one is a really good idea cuz they have managed to build up the symbiote starting from the first one.
@superduper6419 yeah , insomniac had said a awhile back the reason there was no symbiote suit is because to them the symbiote is a critical part of Peter's life. They didn't want to just make it a simple cosmetic

One thing that hasn't been mentioned yet, I'm hoping for is to be able to free roam as Peter and Miles and being able to enter there apartments and walk around the streets that would be a big breakthrough.
When he mentions that Peter is going to be a teacher, it was actually a suggestion that Miles made in Spider-Man Miles Morales during a phone call in post game
Peter also had a teaching assistant bag in one of his lost backpacks in the first game, and when he finds it he says something like “I could see myself teaching again.”
From just the pictures of The Hood that was shown I have a feeling he will eventually become Mysterio. Unable to use real magic he uses his gadgets and tech skills to form illusions and traps, most likely becoming the Mysterio we know during the game.
That makes some sense but his story is definitely done. After his mother died, he literally went "there's nothing left to fight for." the entire reason he was doing any sort of crime was to save her and in the comic, we saw how his whole story ended.
I think the main thing is that Mysterio is already established in Spider-Man PS4 so if he is in 2, which is pretty obvious at this point, we won't get a backstory or anything like that

I actually think I'm gonna turn it off if that's an option, I prefer games like this not having health bars. It makes it feel more like how spidey would actually fight, not knowing what hit is gonna be the one that finally takes them down. It makes it feel less like a video game and more immersive. I was expecting it to be at least a little longer. But I'm honestly glad it's not. The increased amount and hopefully quality of side content and a 20 hour main story sounds just right to me. Any more and games usually turn to bloaty stuff. The first Spiderman already has a lot of bloaty stuff in its main story. I assume we will get a better and more busy main story in this one. I don't know, but it sounds good to me.
It's definitely gonna be longer to complete than the first game because we're all gonna spend like 6 times longer just messing around with all the mechanics and the faster swinging and the physics based swinging and all the new features
No suit is exclusive to deluxe edition, the suits will be instantly unlocked if you get the digital deluxe version but you will be able to unlock those suits if you get the regular edition much like the spider-punk suit for the first game
