Can’t say I immediately cared for the Secret Wars Civil War suit but when I saw that it uses an actual wing jetpack instead of web wings, I’ve been using it basically nonstop. Such a unique detail.
Agreed but being able to change the colours of the suit was a nice touch! I loved the Wolverine suit, Spider-Man Noir and anything that Glowed in the Dark!!
It's a shame that Insomniac didn't do that unique type of thing with some of the other suits, like the MCU Iron Spider suit having the web wings from No Way Home, or the classic Iron Spider suit having repulsor jet blasts, instead of web wings, to imitate flight instead of gliding.
I'm totally with you on the Spider-Punk suit, it would've been way better if they used the Spider-Verse one, not only because of the hype the movie generated, but also it's just way more unique than this one, especially the asymmetrical eyes and big spikes. I could even see them adding the "cutout" effect and shifting colors, it would've been SICK. Here's hoping we get to see it in Spider-Man 3! Also, maybe hot take but 2099 should've been the movie one as well

I do agree that despite them adding so many cool suits, the default suits for Miles and Peter are maybe the best in the game. They fit the characters so well that I hesitate to even switch costumes until I finish the main story.
That’s how I do it, I don’t change suits unless I’m just running around in the free roam or ng+, because I genuinely like the main suits insomniac have made, yes even Miles new suit I do like that one
I don’t hate Pete’s main insomniac suit but I prefer him in more OG similar designs like the raimi or the classic red and blue. Sometimes even TASM 2 costume looks amazing….. Miles insomniac suits are just absolutely fire tho so i have no quarrel about that.👌🏾😮💨🔥

I’m like 20 in and already several of my favorites are listed. We just have different tastes. I think the red and black Mysterio suit for Miles is the best in the game. It’s got the foggy helmet with the evil spider man eyes. I absolutely love it.

13:51 the one part of the MCU stealth suit i hate is the fingerless gloves on it, it completly negates the purpose of stealth if your leaving fingerprints everywhere.
In case ur trying to watch this without spoilers (be sure to watch out for what number the spoilers are on) Number 76 is a MAJOR story suit spoiler starting at 2:51 so skip to 4:06 Suit 74 (although a side story spoiler) starts at 4:43 so skip to 5:29 spoiler suit 58 (that being another side story suit) goes from 15:08 to 15:55 suit number 53 while being another side story suit is a EXTREMELY important one starting from 18:20 and going all the way up to 19:09 51 & 50 goes from 19:48 to 20:45. these “two suits” (if u can even call them two different suits 🙄) just might be the MOST* important suits story wise. Are they good suits? Meh Suits 48 & 47 go from 21:38 to 23:18 and fall under the same side story as suit number 53 Suit number 33 starts at 34:14 and ends at 35:02 and is almost OBJECTIVELY* the most important story suit (hint: it’s Peters) Going from 53:36 to 54:37 number 11 is just the previous suit (in relevance) but *BARELY* less important Starting at 59:08 and going to 1:00:10 suit numbers 3 & 2 are ACTUALLY* (Fr fr this time) the MOST* important in the game story wise

I dont know why, but the Anti-Venom suit is my absolute favorite. It just looks so good in ways I can’t really describe. I really like the texture, the eyes, the color separation looks great, and it obviously flows best with the endgame (until they let us change the tendril colors).

Exactly, and I agree as well. It's a shame it still has that dumb circle around the spider on the chest, but the spider symbols on the chest and back are much better, and the red lines going down the armpits are fantastic.
I finished the game a couple days ago and just now watching this video and I love your takes about the suits. I also 110% agree with your number 1 choice as the new advanced suit is really good in this game and the red and black color style for Peter is a suit I ran for at LEAST 85% of the game, it may be my favorite style of all time.
I love the fact that insomniac put their mind, body, and soul into these suits, and I love the fact that they put all the suits from the comic books to the movies, and I'm not going to lie, I love them all, especially the Symbiote suit from the comics.

What I loved about the Dark & Red style for Advanced 2.0 is that it practically pays homage to Advanced 1.0 with how much lighting changes the look. From the darker red looking like classic red in some scenes. Similar to how the orange popped out more in the first game's suit during the day.
I am incredibly happy with the suit selection in this game, but there are a couple of Peter suits that I wish made it into this game. The first one is the Stealth “Big Time” suit. That suit has a special place in my heart because I got first exposed to it thanks to the RUclipsr Shartimus Prime, and green is my favorite color and the suit just has a really cool design. It also would have been the easiest to give suit styles to because it already has some in the comics. The next suit is the Last Stand suit because it’s just a very simple design and also gives the vibe of a Spider-Man whose been at it for a while. I just thinks it looks really cool. The last is Peter’s Into the Spider-Verse suit. This is probably the most confusing decisions they’ve made since the brought back all of Peter’s movie suits from the first game except this one. And I think in an interview with IGN, Bryan Intiahar said that they knew the had to bring back every movie suit, yet they missed one. I hope that they add it in a future update because it just doesn’t seem right to leave it out, in my opinion, anyway. Overall, great video. I don’t agree with every choice, but we all have our own lists and rankings, and respect your opinion. Edit: One final suit that I’m also disappointed didn’t make it in and I’m ashamed in myself for not including it when I originally wrote this comment is the White 2099 suit. That suit just looks so clean and well designed that I actually think I might prefer it over the “black” one, even though I still love that one. I just think it’s a really cool suit and it really gives off the vibes of a hero from the future. Double Edit: One of the latest updates brought the Last Stand and Peter’s ITSV suit into the game, and I’m happy about that!

the great responsibilities suit is loose around the neck because miles doesn't fit in pete's shoes yet, just like we are shown in into the spider verse
I think a much better blue style for the Superior suit would have been replacing the black fabric sections with a more traditional blue and making the eyes white, making a callback to the classic red & blues. The giant black spider would also invoke the Ben Reilly suit design.

In random order, my top 5 for both Peter and Miles: Peter: TASM 2 suit, Classic suit (red and black), Noir suit, Black Raimi suit, Classic black suit. Miles: Wolverine suit (yellow), Classic suit (red and black), Bodega suit (all black), Carnage suit (red), Sportsweat suit (red and black).
To be honest, my personal favourite suit combos are the default T. R. A. C. K suit and the white and blue Scarlet three suit. Or the 2099 default Peter suit and the 2099 default miles suit the classic variation not the New York one

Ngl the og advantage suit shouldve had a advance 2.0 colours as option but i still like it more than the 2.0 since it has a darker blue

Is there gonna be an updated version with the ng+ symbiote styles, and the rest of the styles getting their own places? Also, while im not really into reading the comics, the spider-punk suit has always been my favorite and the across the spiderverse variant just makes me love it more. Though the apunkalyptic suit is cool, is definitely not my go to.

I think a much better blue style for the Superior suit would have been replacing the black fabric sections with a more traditional blue and making the eyes white, making a callback to the classic red & blues. The giant black spider would also invoke the Ben Reilly suit design.

Peter: TASM 2 suit, Classic suit (red and black), Noir suit, Black Raimi suit, Classic black suit.
Miles: Wolverine suit (yellow), Classic suit (red and black), Bodega suit (all black), Carnage suit (red), Sportsweat suit (red and black).
To be honest, my personal favourite suit combos are the default T. R. A. C. K suit and the white and blue Scarlet three suit. Or the 2099 default Peter suit and the 2099 default miles suit the classic variation not the New York one
