So Update…This delicious delight was a massive hit at our family bake off. We still don’t know who won but I’m sure I got this in the bag. I’ve never had a dessert like this before. It was chewy, creamy, and not overly sweet. Absolutely YUMMY. Thanks for the recipe Yolanda.

Here in Germany chocolate covered hazelnuts are quite common! Maybe because peanuts aren't as big a thing here as on the other side of the Atlantic. Once in a while you can also find chocolate covered brazil nuts.
Um a Ferrell rocher is a chocolate cover hazelnut. Also here in Texas the pecan is covered in milk, dark and white chocolate as well as candy them or in like cinnamon and sugar. Pecans just get covered in just about anything in Texas, we loved pecans.

Hi Naso! I would recommend only 1 day to store the baked meringue, otherwise it will start dry out too much and be brittle while rolling your slablova 😊 the marshmallowy texture is the best part!
