just for reference to anyone wondering. this animation was made the day i started playing this game. i died and saw the shade. i thought this would be a cute animation for it. i did not know about the void heart at that point. i might make a new animation sometime soon. but for the time being, just know that this was made before i learnt about the game and this was when i found gruz mother for the first time and died to her

I think if the knight actually did this, he would probably be merged back with his shade like if he killed it, because the way i interpret it is, Confessor Jiji calls our shade a "regret", considering we're hugging it i would say we've layed our regret to rest, probably causing the shade to merge back into us, anyway its still really cute sooooooo
this was just made the day i discovered the game lol. sorry to burst your bubble, but it sadly has no meaning. didn't know about the void heart, barely knew the lore or the shade. all i know is that it was the same thing as the knight, and iwanted a cute animation of it. so therefore i made one

the shade is the void inside the knight meaning that the knight would just be a shell and cloak on the ground with no body if the shade were seprate from them, thus this is impossible but whatever the animations still good
Yea, i sorta made this animation an hour or two after i first started playing the game when i was wandering confused in the crossroads and noticing another me (the shade) there after i had died. I didnt know much about the lore or anything relating to the void heart and so on then
