As for really powerful cars that real top speed, they SHELBY MUSTANG,as far as American carsare concerned, for me they are the BESTsports cars in America.
I have a 2013 GT500 and 2015 Hellcat. The GT500 is a real super car. Totally underrated.

This was an unfair race since all cars were ran at different times to get up to speed. If you wanna see whos really better run them all for thirty seconds then record the top speed. They all ran for different amounts of time making this race completely uneven so really nobody won and a rematch is needed

P8riot 77 I don’t agree cuz gt500 is factory limited to 217 mph but it doesn’t have a lot of power so it tops at 208 around 210
P8riot 77 Yeah it is. It’s a factory option for about $30,000 above a normal GT500 price, which comes to about the same price as a Demon. Also, the Demon has factory options of $2 called the Demon Crate. So take the Demon Crate off and call it fair game against a normal GT500 (even though GT500 is $30,000) cheaper.

I own a 2014 GT500 these numbers dnt lie so trust me a 2019 GT500 is going to be way faster than my car was stock wish you had made a video with the ZO6. Yall haters better respect that GT500. Top speed is limited to 180 mph. For track package. Not sure about the standard one.

I love how people forget that dodge ripped off americans in their bankruptcy over 8 Billion dollars, yes, 8 with a B in what is known as the bail out in 2009. Took 1.3 Billion of our Tax payers money. Then to add insult to injury, Dodge is owned by an overseas Company that just so happens to be the company that got caught cheating on emmisions, that was fined big money, REMEMBER? If that ain't a shame. Where was Dodge for about 30 years while Ford holds the hot rod industries together. FIRST ON RACE DAY BABY!!!FYI... Dodge brothers back then were making parts for Cars and Bicycles. Chevy needed the bail out also. Ford did not use bail out money. Now when you buy dodge/jeep, money goes straight over seas..... Do your homework....
HellcatRedeye024 history check, if there wasn’t a ford Model T there wouldn’t be dodge. Dodge needed ford to use their chassis and engine at the time.

I’ve got a 13 GT500 and this is no joke! With stock gears they will do 200mph. I geared mine to 3:73 witch made it a monster. constantly a 10:80ish car with pully & tune. Street tires Firestone firehawk Indy 500s I ran 11:22 was best on the street tires. Not using launch control. They are ridiculously fast!
The Shelby and Demon were the real battle. The ZL1 got left behind 😂. I say the Shelby is better tho
Gt500 for being years older is still a beast of a car, ZL1 gauge display looks cheap for the style it has, demon still needing all planets to a-line perfectly to get close to the advertisement it claims. Love them All.

As much as I love chevy, I hate to say it, but that ford was killing both of them. A to B race it might not get there first, but once that thing is hooked and pulling it's speedometer sure seems to climb the fastest. I would still choose that camaro over anything

Chargers hit over 200 long before the Hellcat engine came out. Bigger, heavier car with a lot less power and still faster top end :)
K 500R,brings DEATH to the Demon in a big way(210 miles per hour!!),while using alot less hp.and the camero is not a factor,unless your drag racing garden tractors...🚜💨

Putting a normal GT500 up against a Demon? Was it just to show that after 5 years Chevy still can’t get their shit together to beat out Mustang? Fr the ZL1 runs the same on the strip as the 5 year old GT500. But now of course, it out handles it. These are all three godly cars though, mad respect for Chevy and Dodge. Hype for the new GT500

So the Demon got to its top speed much quicker that the other 2. I do believe that the Gt500 had the top speed .
One thing that does need to be different is that instead of the Demon you need to use the Hellcat Challenger widebody instead. It has a much higher top speed than the Demon.

Bro the gt500 was at 180mph when the demon hit 164. Thing is the Shelby is not geared for 1/4 mile from the factory like the demon but it eats hard after the 1/4 mile. That's why I installed 3.73s and some tire to dig race and it's a monster.

Jaden Evans top speed from factory is 164 on demon.

At 3:18 Shelby is at 165,170 hard to tell and the demon is at 157 I would be really interested to see what would happen if the demon wasn't limited.
The demon can hit well over 200mph that's the newest and fastest reproduction car that GT500 should of been spanked

The ZL1 with the 10 speed in stock form is faster than the manual, more than 2.5 seconds faster to 150mph. Confirmed top speed of 198mph. Stock. A hellcat will hit 199 and the new 797hp widebody will hit 202mph. My ZL1 with headers, a larger pulley for the supercharger, CAI and custom dyno tune is about 740hp at the crank and would take out that Mustang and break 200mph. Its incredible what the tuners are able to do with these new musclecars, You can drive a legitamate 200mph car off the showroom floor. After having the Challenger and the ZL1 the Camaro is the better car. I've been a MOPAR guy most of my life but the '15 Challenger was a beautiful thing to look at but was in the shop 22 times in 24 months. They wouldn't fix it for some reason and I had to lemonlaw the car. Bought the '17 ZL1 and I've had 0 problems with it, even after the speedshop did the upgrades, REDLINE MOTORSPORTS did the work, it runs perfectly and I'll have no hesitation when I buy my next Chevy. BUY AMERICAN!!

We will wait until someone decides to manually taking it off and giving it a go 😅. But i believe it would be dangerous with that car to go beyond 170. Because for launch they might have needed softer suspension, but high speed need stiffer suspension for stability.

I set the playback speed at .5 and viewed each run several times to validate my observations.

Demon: 0-60 mph 4.21 ; 0-100 mph 7.30 ; 0-150 mph 16.05 ; Top speed 164 mph 19.25
Camaro: 0-60 mph 5.21 ; 0-100 mph 9.25 ; 0-150 mph 21.20 ; Top speed 173 mph 35.00
GT 500: 0-60 mph 4.08 ; 0-100 mph 7.31; 0-150 mph 12.27 ; Top Speed 200 mph 25.26

Btw did you get the chance to look at the Hellion mustang from Lebanon Ohio factory they got a mustang for 41k at 750hp and a 61k with 1200hp
Ok I’m a diehard GM guy but the demon is way quicker than that. 0to60 in like 2 something seconds I think. There is no way the Ford smoked that demon and the camero needs to go home and I’m a Chevy guy. Only a true gear head says what I said. I love all cars brother

The 13 14 Gt 500 has a higher top end.

Lucas Dedeaux but considering demons are heavier and less aerodynamic it still was side by side with the shelby and it was ahead of it until 130mph

Damn! Gt500 all the way.. Maybe a bit slower 0-60 but once it hit about 120 it was over. Especially right about at 140 it would be leaving that dodge far behind
umm .... did you just put both an 840 hp car and a 900hp car vs a 750hp car ....... AND it still kept pace? man the ZL1 is a beast! next video tho you should try putting cars of similar HP together to compare better. Demon, Exorcist, GT500 no further then 1 year apart/ same year if you can. I know the new gt500 is crazy with the 700+hp but I'm sure there will be another ZL1 announced soon also id like to see those two cars go head to head.

I Love the ZL-1 the best. However why do Chevy, Ford and Dodge govern these cars? The ZL-1 went to about 173mph, the Dodge was around 165mph. I'm assuming the GT500 didn't have a Governor since it went to about 193mph. They are all awesome Muscle cars. Your thoughts folks?????

Dylan will your story sounds believable if you have a modded Mustang otherwise if it's not it comes down to the drivers, a high horsepower car is harder to launch if you don't know how to drive it, there's people out there that own a Hellcat that if they went to the track they probably will run 13 second because they don't even know how to drive their own Hellcat
