What I noticed is that the kids from both teams were very respectful of the opponent. That is the parents credit. Good young men.
Hey peeps. These are kids from the second smallest classification in Texas. NO WHERE in the nation will you find this skill and athleticism from as small a group. The Senior class is probably about 30 kids.
This is why you will hear "Football is king." in Texas. And not to mention an average crowd will run you about 200 to 300 fans per side in 2A. On many a night it's standing room only along the fence. Grandma's and Grandpa's get there an hour early. Reserved seating in front of the pressbox. I've watched other HS games on tv and nothing compares.NOTHING NOWHERE...
And just so you know, this isnt store bought. These kids have grown up in the community from first grade. None of this moving around to be on a winning team crap. These are home town, home grown, God fearing, salt of the earth kids.

One would think someone from Refugio would be able to spell it correctly. Go Loboes!
