    Hot racing jig? You should tape up each loose wire as you dont want them accidentally touching. Ic5 are more expensive but easier to solder than Ec5

    Important Note: When working with the smart batteries that use the third wire you should "remove the 3rd wire last and connect it 1st" in case you accidentally short one of the battery terminals to the small third terminal with the soldering iron while soldering the third wire in that small space between the two main battery lead connectors.

      I did sometimes have close calls, but if you touch it for a couple of seconds, there’s no danger.
