Just getting back into golf after a 4 year break. Watched your video on the actual product and after doing a good bit of research, I ordered one from Amazon. Just came in today, and it really is a solid product. I didn’t want to pony up the dollars for a really expensive range finder. After tinkering with it today, I can’t wait to get it action at the course. Good review.
Bought it, used it 3 rounds before the viewfinder filled up with condensation and made viewing impossible. The "fog" eventually condensed into a drop of water at the bottom of the viewfinder. It features "pin lock" but 60% of the time it locks onto the trees or building behind the flag (unlike the claim in this video.) 5 readings from the same spot varied by 3 to 10 yards (up to a full club). Most of the time, my buddies had already hit their shots and I was still trying to get a reading from this device. Several times I had to borrow my buddy's range finder so I could get an actual distance to the pin. People on RUclips make this sound good but don't be fooled. It really is a cheap toy that doesn't work well.
I literally just got mines yesterday. I got so lucky cause I didn't have to buy it, I won it on a tiktok giveaway! Can't wait to get out on the course and put it to use.
Two things that pop out to me, if this is a first opening of the box, how can you profess that the clarity of the lens is better. You haven’t used it yet. Secondly, no charger included. Will any Apple iPhone or current iPad charger work with this unit. Older Apple units don’t have the new connector. How else do they expect these batteries to be charged?
Range finders are a waste of money and lead to slow play any of the gps golf apps give accurate enough yardages and a lot of others useful features as well and in basic form they are free.
@@28russ I’m in Australia and haven’t played a course yet that my app doesn’t have ( it’s Hole 19 app) Even country courses in the states every course would be covered I’m sure.
@@bernie320 I'm downunder too mate and the course I usually play is a member owned and maintained course that isn't really well known so just wondered if it'd be on the apps? Is it a free app?
@@28russ What course I’ll check if it is and get back too you Yes it’s free in basic form I pay $9.00 a month for extra features I’ve logged over a hundred rounds on if and I get a hcp and full stats

use this range finder... it's brilliant value for money.
This device is great, really quick measurement, a lot better than The Ace by Pinned Golf : )) I have both of them.

I bought one and it won’t seem to turn on but it turns on when it’s plugged in anyone know why. It is fully charged already.
Does it not come on when you press the power button, or hold it down?
