      @@Strategiser2 it's sad that the algorithm became hyper normalized from stealing from everyone. I would say it goes back to at least 1988 with the invention of neural networks being applied to the first military technology. But I know for a fact it goes back a lot longer than that and my best example for this is Operation paperclip. Of course it goes back even further than that and I'm definitely not sure we're ready to talk about that on RUclips. So I'm hoping all the alphabet boys which is absolutely hilarious from my understanding of the federal system, because they're all three to four letter agencies, can absolutely shitcanned from all this regulation that is about to come within five years once the recorders get massive push back from the incredible managed equity industry within two. It's almost like we need the new new new new new new new new new new new new new new new new new new new new new new new new federation because at this rate you keep setting the currency value to 0 and maybe the currency is the problem. Looking forward to see what happens especially with your platform. Add all these other platforms that no one could afford when they need to work 3 to 8 jobs to be able to put food on the table. Privatization is not the answer to any company that is too big to fail.
      It does work really well however for any megacorp empire strategy and one thing trade especially if you are able to form a holy federation and then use trade to generate unity which is absolutely ridiculous and hilarious 😂 for all the absolutely wrong reasons that you would expect in Stellaris! At least if you do this you can rush for a nice big red button to create your own Galaxy with and nothing will be wrong in that one we're pretty sure.

      Imo the enemy should be warned in advance on their UI when they order the jump - if they have the intel. If several such "magnets" are in range, priority would go to closest.

    Or use Quantum Catapults defensively, which HARD COUNTER jump sniping.
    The fleet dispersal should be minimal, if felt at all when targeting your own space, and instead of a -50% malus to fire rate, you get a 33-50% BONUS to fire rate, tipping the scales wildly in your defensive favor. Also, no cooldown so you can use a jump drive to espcape or even push further, if you wanted to. If you have pulsars in your space, you should have that many catapults. Chain your catapult jumps together and in a matter of days you can send your ships safely from one side of your space to the other at practically zero risk of splitting them up.

    • @Strategiser2
      @Strategiser2  3 дня назад +7

      THAT is true...
      there is actually a trick to lower randomness in Catapult Warp Times while ALSO lowering it as a whole completely
      simply keep your fleets either below 100 naval cap for absolute consistency and under 150 for "good enough" consistency
      both will have exponentially lower Catapult Warp times compared to when going above 150
      why? i have no clue
      probably hard coded points where the maluses suddenly start hitting you like a truck
      tho the "have Neutron Stars/Pulsars possibly chained close enough AND in your control" is very much RNG, you may not even have a conveniently placed Neutron Star/Pulsar(s) in the first place

Then you flip the script and inform them on why Hyperlanes have their own strengths. I get why they went away from multiple drives, but I think they should have just gone ahead and done a sequel at that point, it's a very fundimentally different game.

    Your videos have great content, but I can't work with your cadence when you're reading the script.
    I don't know if it's a personal quirk or an accent, but either way it makes it very difficult to watch.
    Cheers.

    This is why you need defense platforms in bulk, they wreck ships being debuffed by Jumping.

      @@trubacjakub3179 oh I do play MP but everyone in my lobby sucks at war compared to me and branded me the group crisis cause every game I'm literally the crisis on the map. I honestly think they'd do better if they play Sins of a solar empire 2 (would run better too) but they insist and then get lost when I pull out economy, ethic, ship design breakdowns for them. So I just make the rules to A keep me in check for them and B give them some safeguards.
