I'll never forget getting fitted for my Alphas in boot (USMC). The tailor was this old Philipono guy. He was straight up pro and it was a jarringly healing experience getting measured. Odd but soothing at the same time.

I remember getting fitted for my suit and seriously one of the most relaxing experiences.
My favourite ASMR video. I worry that these amazing artisans have taken a real hit during the pandemic with very few going into offices.
But think about this- everyone has gotten fat on lockdown... they will need new suits! ;)

Well...he's the owner of a shop on saville row, I don't know a single owner on saville row that doesn't pull up in a $200k Mercedes or astin Martin. He's been in this business since the 70s so he should be pretty secure...im more worried for his apprentices...bespoke can be kinda like becoming a doctor....only the chief of the hospital drives the porsche...everyone else has a roommate until those loans are paid off lol.
That level of tailoring has to be maddeningly tedious.

I did some sewing on the pockets. I did some sewing on the flaps. I did some sewing on the buttonholes. I did some sewing on the seams. I mirrored the complete stripe at the broadest part of back with a complete stripe at the bottom. If you can, have a bit of fun and express your individuality.
50% of customers are happy with thier purchase immediately, the other 50% are happy after 24 hours, but you need to be open to receiving the happiness from the suit. 😂
