At this point I really gonna have to mention that I absolutely LOVE that Aaron cant stress enough in every single video that you can toss in or replace certain items with ANYTHING you like.
I loathe living in Germany and the cooking here be so strict and dead. Like every single one of my German friends always tells me that they are amazed with the way I cook (I just look into my pantry and fridge and cook with whatever I needs to go) because they can not do that. They never experimented in their life so they dont know what flavours work together so they are afraid to fuck something up and only cook by recipe. Like .. literally. They want to cook a meal for the day they go to the store and buy exactly what they need and how much they need and then use that and then they go to the store the next day to buy things what they wanna cook for the next day again.
WHO HAS THE TIME TO GO TO THE STORE EVERY SINGLE DAY. D:

@@bitowit1882 put the seeds in one of those tiny green houses around late winter (indoor), and repot them into cups as they grow (indoors), then repot them into something bigger later around spring (outdoor usually but if its too cold, indoor works too)
They can be harvested in summer, you can get a pretty decent batch!
If you use stems, then you can skip the greenhouse part, pot them into cups when they sprout decent roots!
Last Edit: place them at your windows when indoors! Also keep them contained, or they will take over youre garden!

Thanks for this!! It would be great to see more recipes that were created to be made with seafood and/or vegetarian.
I ask because I have noticed that although one can often exchange proteins in some recipeas, the flavor profile of Korean dishea that rely on the fats & flavors (and longer cook times) of pork or beef, end of with the overall flavor being greatly changed - or at times, compromised. The non-intended changes sometimes just don't taste right. I guess this is because Korean food has so much conectivity amongst all of it's beautiful flavors. 😊
Thanks again for all you great videos!!

Today you showed me what to do with my perilla leaves! I use it for wraps for a couple of meals, but I always have left over. Now I will garnish my dishes with them! We're lucky here in Hawaii, they're locally grown, so fresh and delicious! As always, you two are so charming and wonderful!!!!

Alright I didn't have ssamjang in my refrigerator, but it will now accompany jars of gochujang. And doenjang is already in the basket, so finally the Jang family would be reunited! 🤣👍🏻

Ssamjang is just 1 part gochujang and 1 part doenjang with some vinegar, sugar and garlic to taste!
