Its interesting to see a spa without much water. Here in Sweden water and sauna is the cornerstone of a spa experience. Jacuzzi, swimming pool, special showers and different saunas are the core. Then you can usually add massage and different skin care treatments. But this was something else, looks really cozy!
There actually is a lot of water in Korea spas too (hence, "bath" house). But the water is in gender separated areas and everybody's naked - probably why it wasn't shown much in the video!
@@hikaru8158 I was responding to the original poster’s comment about Sweden having water as the cornerstone of a spa experience. It is the same in America.
I LAUGHED SO HARD WHEN YOU FELL DOWN! :D It is so nice to see a different and even more sincere and authentic Tina living in Korea. Thank you for presenting yourself in even more "real".
Seriously! I save doobys video for the days when I am feeling down and it helps me get through so much 😇 So glad for this wonderful content and seeing you to be able to wind down
I go to the korean spa in Los Angeles, Wi Spa. It was very interesting an authentic korean spa - definitely added to my travel to do list ❤️ thank you for showing the would this peaceful and relaxing space
I recently heard someone explain there are a lot of symptoms of stress, fatigue, and anxiety related to being over worked and though some people may share symptoms its not always the same. One of those he shared was a symptom of being overworked is when you force yourself to stop, or find yourself moving slower at a relaxed or normal pace compared to your previous pace, suddenly you feel extreme anxiety because you arent working hard enough, you arent producing enough work, you're afraid you're falling behind, and its the constant dread of bad news as a result. It feels like a strange side effect of abuse on yourself or by someone else and it takes many days or weeks of knowing your new pace is ok, and you're not going to be punished or hurt by the new pace and you're not forgetting anything. This really stuck with me as a college student, and the time between semesters feels like that every time finals are over and im free for a month or two. What you described reminded me of that starting at around 6:48 and I hope you feel better
I was in the middle of watching the *first* video when it got deleted or privated lol i was so confused when it happened 😂 thought i would never see the end of this vlog 😅
The scrub is the best! There is an old school bath house in Busan which I used to go whenever I visited Korea. The aunties scrubbed real hard and I felt so clean and refreshed! It also came with shampoo and freshly grated cucumber face mask. Sento in Japan is pretty quiet but it is so relaxing especially after a tiring day. I miss bath houses in Korea and Japan so much.
@@leokwan5407 the usual google search will give you spa land. I rem it is near gukje market ( a lot of food to eat along the street) and the bath house is at second floor of a shophouse. It is called 목욕탕. There is a famous chinese restaurant near Busan station (Metro) at Lushan chinese street. Lovely dumplings and soy milk. Yum.
Omg, I *cracked* (pun intended) when the dooby egg got massaged at the sports massaged at 21:22. Especially bc she was talking about being boiled in the hot rooms and then ice shocked in the ice room. Lol ♡ And not only did Yejin got closer to you… I guess all of us doobies did, thanks for sharing this K-spa 24h adventure♡✨
I am going to stay overnight at that spa tomorrow. I wasn’t game to do the scrub but having watched Dooby, I am game… go foundation 1 😂 I am loving Makgeolli (it’s like fizzy sake) so super keen to try that fermented icy rice slushie drink!
I don't have the money to go go one in the US currently, so watching this video is really what I needed today. Thanks for giving me some comfort when life sucks rn, love you Dooby and friends 🤎
I can't understand how people relax in so high temperature.. I tried sauna last year and it gave me ANXIETY , like seriously life gives it to you anyway, why double it?!
can you tour us to the Korean hanok while wearing hanbok and eating traditional food just like what we've watched in Korean historical dramas? will def love to know more and be introduced more about it.
Haha I know the exact spot in NJ that you referenced. I love that one too! But there’s also a more traditional one (no pool just saunas) that’s slightly more affordable nearby-ish.
this really makes me wish there was a everything I ate with a subscriber in Korea for 24 hours video because I'm coming to Seoul and am so excited to visit and eat as much as I can while I'm there alone because I love food but other than Mija Seoul I'm so overwhelmed by where to go eat ahaha
this is so interesting to see compared to finnish saunas, which ive been doing my whole life. we like to throw water on a stove so it get super steamy (i take one at 180f or 82c) then jump in cold water or snow. it feels amazing
Thanks for the video, it's so interesting so see how a korean spa works. I love your videos. "The Sound of Music" was based on the story of the Trapp family singers from Austria. Like Switzerland, Austria is a beautiful country with beautiful mountains. Much love from Switzerland
31:44 THIS IS TRUE I always get a shade paler whenever i scrub myself with that! That towel is not your average loofah. This shit hurts but it really does the job of removing the dead layer of your skin. I remember this is the same statement that jessi said on TV but she got cancelled 😴 because apparently the international audience took it as a racist remark But it’s true you naturally get a shade lighter after scrubbing off the outer layer of skin that’s burnt by the sun.
It would be really cool if you could do a behind the scenes of KAL or Asiana Airlines catering....it's food related and having worked on aviation catering projects it's really interesting.
That's crazy. In germany, it's not allowed to enter a public mixed sauna with any clothes on at all. Your kind of sauna seems to be relaxing too, just without all those hygienic "sweating out" aspects of it. I will try that too next time, i'm in this country
I just love her energy so much! Brings such peace to see her be her carefree self.

America is the same way
There is a lot of water in Korean spas, she’s only filming the communal area as you must be naked in the bath area.
@@prettywildnightsno it isn’t. Where in the whole country do you get a spa like this??

I’ll definitely be adding this to my bucket list for when I go to Korea! Love your videos 🫶🫶
She is driving home the importance of RELAXATION! Thanks Dooby ❤
Definitely saw Daddy in my peripheral while reading this comment
I never knew you could stay at a spa that long. You took relaxing to a whole new level. Great video, can't wait for the next one !
@xKingFallx; Look up Blondie in China and their spa stay. It blows every other spa experience away.
Tina fully giving the "pov ur being weird with ur sibling vibe" and I love it cause this is exactly how my sister and I are at sauna lol
I grew up going to the korean spa and i'm so happy everyone is getting put onto this!!
I was here last year! It was such a nice experience to spend with my family. Thank you for letting me relive the Korean spa experience again!
What was the cost of 24 hr Spa?
Hands down one of the best opening monologues ever!
She’s the Korean Psycho (look up American Psycho this is a version beginning monologue)
i don't know why but seeing her getting massage makes me feel so relaxed.

I’ve watched so many dramas with spa scenes but this is one of the first times seeing how it really is with the massage and scrub.
Your videos are like a spa treatment for us doobies !!!! ❤️❤️❤️
I LOVE THE KOREAN SPA AND THE FOOD THEY SERVE!
Girl, I just like your personality so much
Your vlogs are really soo entertaining, like there are no filters which I really like it!!!
