hey guys! Part 2 is currently uploading - should be published in 2-3 hours!
I found your channel when I was researching the Permobil M3 that I just ordered for my daughter. Great quality and content in your videos!!! Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing!
no problem! hope the chair works out well for her!
Before you showed what chair it was, I was talking out loud to myself saying "It'd be cool if it was the new Bounder, I want a Bounder, ITS A BOUNDER!?!" 😆 Nice! Yeah I want the 11 mph motors.
Looks like you guys had fun cruising the trails. I love your new wheels!
Awesome a Park trail.
grats on the new chair.. 50 miles? damn. I actually got a new chair 2 days ago, but it has been raining so hard, I have barely been able to leave the house. got me a Frontier V6. as for the foot plate, I don't have much choice, I wear a 13-1/2 EEEEE, so my toes always hang over the end of the foot plate. but I don't mind, because I agree with you, I prefer my boots to push doors, not the steel plate.
nothing worse than the CLANK when your footplate hits the door and everyone turns around to stare LOL
When I switched from a scooter to a rehab chair I was very concerned about sitting so much higher and not being able to reach the floor. One of the things I considered to lower my seat height in the rehab chair was to compress the suspension mechanically like a low rider. Actually, my mini van had a feature like this to lower the floor height by electro-mechanically compressing the rear suspension (before I disabled it). I figured I could lower my Permobil F3 at least an inch using this technique.
awesome! good way to do it!!
Congratulations on your new chair Dan! That is one massive foot pad. I wonder if it's for counterbalance since your chair is rearwheel drive. Wish you the best with the chair and Merry Christmas!
nice real nice and than sum,,,wish you the best,,,ride safe ,,,and god bless...
awesome chair! like all chairs, need modify for your use and needs.i enjoy that and always look for ways to improve.i know your the same.lol.think im going to covert torque to 4x4 this summer.
wish you was in ky we hit mammoth cave trails
Congrats on the new chair, it's always an exciting time :) BTW what camera mount/gimble are you using? Very impressive! Also good to see Dave and his M3 - does he have ESP?
no ESP on the M3 - but it works out well for him!
I use a mix of the sony a5100 DSLR, and a Go Pro HERO 7 black no gimbal!
all the the trail footage was shot with the go pro.. surprising, right??
Amazingly smooth trail footage! Gonna have to get me one of those....hey Santa..
Is your buddy using the M3? I am getting mine delivered today...anxious. Medical suppl company was pushing the Quantum so hard but I've had good experiences with Permobil.
yup! hes using the M3 - he does a lot of running around on sidewalks and trails etc... after about 2 months it got pretty rattly and squeaked a lot - but i installed my "squeak kit" on his chair and its been a lot better :^) mostly its the seat back that makes noise. chair has been very reliable though!
@@TotallyNormal- Thanks for this -- (deep breathe)
Just finished the video nice chair. I still have not gotten my Amysystems chair. The frigging Vendor forgot to follow up with the therapist an it never got ordered.
hasnt it been like 6 moths or more?? :^/
@@TotallyNormal- Yep : (
you are luck man... did you get the extra power motor?
Say Dan, just curious why your partners E-Zlock is at the top of his ramp?
nice catch! haha he transfers into the drivers seat to drive.... so goes straight in, latches into the EZ lock, and while its locked in, he can spin his powerchair around, and then get the drivers seat moved back into position, transfer, and then drive! and when ready to get out, rotate the powerchair while locked in towards the door, and then head down the ramp! that way he can ride in his chair while someone else drives too. interesting setup i will say!
I was wondering if someone could answer my question. I have a permobile chair and was wondering if there is a way to reprogram the speed? Currently my max speed is 5.8 mph.
what model of pemobil do ya have?
@@TotallyNormal- My Older one that I use most is the permobile m300 and my newer one the is slower is m400.
"usually" those chairs have 6 or 6.5 mph motors.. ive found that a lot of times they chairs are shipped with the speed set to 80% of its max capabilities.. a handheld or laptop programmer is needed to change the settings.. a few chairs have on board programing enabled.. and then it can be done via the color LCD joystick.. but usually requires a trip to a dealer to make changes.. hope this helps!
