I like how there are dislikes for this video. Like somebody clicked “XT3 Full Tutorial” and thought it was going to be anything different.
Not to mention the incredible amount of information given FOR FREE which renders this video totally invaluable. How can ppl dislike this?
All I can think of is those are jealous RUclipsrs that have their own XT-3 tutorials but they're nowhere near as good as this one.

alan connelly A two hour “blatant sales pitch”? Seriously? I found this walkthrough to be extremely helpful. I still refer to the manual, but I have a much better understanding of the functions through this VERY thorough tutorial. BTW, His tutorials are not “big bucks”, but he does charge for them. Should he not be able to make a living and feed his family??
@@toddcoble1485 clearly this is a sales pitch to buy his next video. I read the manual, this video compliments the manual but us it's main intent is a sales pitch to but the next videos. I never said this video is not helpful, it is in that it compliments the cameras manual, helpful in that it explains what t is in the manual but with video. Nothing wrong with that, but clearly the real intent is to get you to buy his next video.
I just bought an XT-3....so i'll be watching this on loop til it gets to my house.
I watched this over a year ago! And I still believe it is the BEST tutorial on the XT3 out there, bar none.! Some others are pretty good but Michael's the best. I'm dropping the mic...!!

Absolutely fantastic Michael, this is a video I’ll be watching over and over. I watched it last week but today I’ve now got my own X-T3 in my hand so I’m starting it all over again. This kinda stuff is priceless to me. I’ve moved over to mirrorless from the Canon 70D. You sir, are a star 👍👍👍

This is the best XT-3 tutorial I've ever seen and it's free! For a beginner or someone switching system the most important thing is to really understand those customizable buttons and features, then you can take photos with more confidence.

👏👌👍 Hey Michael. Thank you for this thoroughly informative vid on the X-T3 functions. I'm completely fresh to not only the mirrorless system but also the use of old skool dials/knobs. It's so foreign to me, I'm used to menus & scrolling so I had absolutely no idea how to adjust & set shooting modes & functions (Aperture/Shutter/ISO), but your video has totally cleared that all up & I actually know what to do now. My family just got me the T-3 as and early Christmas present and I've only taken two pictures with it because I was going to sit down a go through the book page by page... I came from a Canon 60D and only using that for the past 16 years... and really only starting to master it in the past 2! I was feeling ancient when I unboxed this the other day and when I turned the new camera on it asked if I wanted to link it to my phone and update it... I've watched a couple of video tutorials for Xt-3 and this one is hands down the best. The Tony Northrup one is good too. But I personally prefer this video. He doesn't just teach you where the buttons are and what they do, he tells you what you should make a habit of doing to begin to quickly feel at ease using this camera in a practical way. I feel like it is perfect for anyone from a total beginner to an intermediate camera user, and I can imagine that it is good to watch for a professional who is however new to the Xt-3. Great video!
I will definitely look into purchasing his courses based upon how good this free one is.

I just bought xt3 & xf 23mm f1.4 lens.
However, in movie settings, I can't change MOVIE AF MODE to "afs-c" even after changing it from front dial. It just stays at "MF".
I've checked firmware updgrade too, for both the lens & camera body, still no help.
Has anyone had the same problem? How to solve this?
Do you have another lens you can swap out ad test with?

I just figured it out, I'd never used a Fuji lens before that's why it took me a while to understand what was wrong, turns out it was the lens clutch that slides/clicks in and out of manual focus. Which was set to manual.
On canon systems, it's generally clearly labelled little af-mf toggle switch, easy to figure out.
Anyways, loving the camera, finished watching your entire video, taken down notes for future reference, can't thank you enough!
