Thanks! Thanks! and Thanks! Your videos should be the video template to all who post on RUclips! No waiting (or enduring) a long-winded, useless intro. Your videos are straight to the point and so extremely informative and helpful - in every way - especially to a novice like me. Thanks again - and again!!!
That was absolutely perfect! Just crossing into video, and mirrorless, now have the X-S10 and I couldn't ask for a more perfect tutorial. Big thanks Chris
man, i just thinking about buying a fujifilm XT3 for about several month. Today i just discovered you chanel and i love you so much right now, you helped me a lot to take my decision and i pray to allah that he will reward you for you help.
THNX, THNX, THNX again for this complete video settings guide. I recommended everyone with a Fujifilm camera to follow your inspiring vlogs. TIP - I’ll keep this video in my PLAY app when I forgot one off the videosettings. Better than any subscription and always by the hand.
I was completely lost with how to set up my new Fujifilm XT30 and this video was incredibly helpful, just the right amount of information without being overwhelming. Thank you!!
Greetings from the Scottish Borders. Very recently bought myself a new Xt3 with the 16-80mm lens. Learning about the camera and more from your great videos. Thank you.
I discovered your channel a few days ago after receiving my XT-4 (first mirrorless camera that I own, I worked with Canon at work and did most of my own projects with my phone) Thank you so much for your content, and for making complicated things so easy to understand. I have watched so many of your videos and learned tremendously, you have made my experience with Fujifilm amazing. I subscribed and can't wait to learn even more with your next videos!
I don't know if I've said thanks for this video yet. It's one I keep coming back to when I want to just clear the slate and get back to a setting that I'm confident will produce great video. Thank you
I'm a new user to FujiFilm and found this video and your how to setup for beginners videos so informative and helpful. Thank you so much I have now subscribed. Looking forward to using my new cam.
I have really struggled trying to learn video as a long-time stills shooter. This is so helpful. Can't wait to get my XT3 setup. Keep the videos coming on how to film with Fuji cameras
Great tutorial, I don’t even own a Fujifilm camera but you have pushed me closer to buying one. I will keep tuning into your tutorial’s as I find them so helpful. Thanks.
Hi, just want to say your channel has been really helpful for someone who is new to Fuji. Your videos are always super informative and well produced. I appreciate everything you do for us ;-)
Chris, I’ve watched this video at least twice before - this information is so useful to come back and reference when those video gigs come up. Thank you, again!
@14:40 thaaaat’s how to get rid of the “over!” problem!!! Jeez thanks man!!!!💛I’d like to be of value here in the dept. of smooth video. Trick I learned (from drone videos) on smoothening out motion is to shoot in 30 frames per second and reduce speed in post production by 80%, to essentially 24fps. For the right type of clip, it’s butter baby! Have a great weekend
I watch this video every time before going into video mode with my XT4. Very beneficial and entertaining!! Thank you very much for your efforts on making these videos for us!!
Thank you so much Chris. I’m an amateur camera-user and coming from Canon, I find my Fujifilm very intimidating. Thank you for explaining Fujifilm-usage so well and making me more comfortable to use my camera
Thank you so much for making these videos, you taught me literally everything I know about filming on my fuji and helped me decide to get the XT4. I still have a lot to learn but you have made it so much easier than trying to figure it out myself :) -Della
i been watching your videos for a long time your one of my fav. i love how you blast out my speakers on your intro videos it makes me grab the remote volume control every time lol. if i recall right your wife did one of your intro at normal volume she gets 2 thumbs up. i think she should do more of your intro videos and change things up every now and then, be like a surprise on each of your into videos. kind of reminds me of a friend i have if he meets some one new and plays the guitar for them he all ways plays the same songs first, i herd it a 100 times and they herd it once, get the point lol
Thanks alot! I just picked up an XS20 for video purposes and some light real estate! This is super helpful, very different from iPhone 13 pro videoshooting!
This video has helped me get over the disappointment of not winning my Fujifilm Instax Mini EVO. 😉I bought the X-T4 this summer and have only used it for stills. This will give me the boost to start learning the video part of it. Very helpful video, thanks!
I’ve recently got in to photography and film. I lucked up and blindly bought a xt20 knowing very little. After your videos, and some experience I don’t think I can enjoy the other brands like Fuji. Thank you for the great content you have made my learning curve so much faster!
Gosh I love this channel. some times when i want reviews on a camera, I visit Pal2Tech and search the camera name, if I dont see what I searched on your channel i get so bummed. Your reviews are just perfect.
Thank you so much for the videos on the Fuji film !! 🤩 I recently got a xt4 and your videos are helping me a lot ! I can’t wait for more videos to come ! Especially your affordable gear videos !! College student over here
Finally! I can start filming now after watching this. Thanks you so much for this very detailed and helpful tutorial. I will keep share this one to all social media flat form. More power and success to you sir! Keep it up!
Hi Chris, thank you for this video. It's super helpful! I have been a still photograher for years (started from film days like you). The world of vdieo photography is so much different and more complicated. I always wonder how to set my camera's video setting properly. E.g. frame rate, sampling rate....etc. Your video is so educational! I even saved it to my playlist to make sure I can watch it over and over again. You are such a good teacher! Thank you very much!!
Yeah, that sounds really cool. I'll be so interested in your videos on 'how to shoot video' with other types of gear. Maybe even a video on how to combine GoPro, smartphone & F/Film camera to make a single video.
Just got my very first Fujifilm camera, an X-T30 II with a XF 18-55 OIS lens on about 10 days ago. So inevitably, this Chanel was a golden treasure ! Now I have a feeling that my OIS feature doesn’t work.. the camera understands when it’s on or off, but my footages are exactly the same no matter what. I also noticed a sort of whirring humming sound coming from the lens.. is that sound normal ? Should I see a clear difference with and without the IOS ? I’m wondering if I should simply return the lens, or keep trying to solve it by myself. Thanks y’all !
I love your channel and the way you're explaining. I just ordered the XT4 and I have to wait for 2 weeks because it's sold out. Thanks to you, I can already familiarize myself with all the important functions. Many thanks!
Great video Chris. I have to start doing more video for my real estate business but only ever being a stills shooter I'm finding it tough.. This is really helpful..!! Thanks!!
Thank you so much Shawnie!!!! I'm sorry for the delay as I'm just seeing this now. I really appreciate your support of the channel. Cheers! I hope you are doing well.
Thanks as I’ve almost given up on video with fujifilm. Granted I’m still using a xt2 and xh1. And lens selection varies greatly. It is much easier to film other people than yourself. Especially with that terrible autofocus
One thing about Fuji cameras or at least mine, is the audio hisses with Rode or DJI wireless mics, you have to turn the camera gain down to -16.5 for it to start to go away. Come on Fuji
These are really great tips for someone who is primarily interested in still photography but wants to dabble in video.
I just LOVE how you demonstrate what you are talking about
Thanks! Thanks! and Thanks! Your videos should be the video template to all who post on RUclips! No waiting (or enduring) a long-winded, useless intro. Boy, what a great how-to video. I'm starting to feel more comfortable about taking video with my XT4. A huge YES to more content on making videos!
THNX, THNX, THNX again for this complete video settings guide. I recommended everyone with a Fujifilm camera to follow your inspiring vlogs. TIP - I’ll keep this video in my PLAY app when I forgot one off the videosettings. Better than any subscription and always by the hand.

I’ve only ever shot stills. Thanks, I’ve never learned so much in 20mins!! Brilliant video.
Have decided to try my hand at a bit of videography with my X-T5. Even though this tutorial is based on the X-T4 it was, as ever, very useful.
Thanks for everything you are doing, Im starting my own photography channel, and people like you and Omar Gonzalez are an inspiration.
You are always the best whom to get good information and clear doubts. Thanks for your job

Thanks so much! It’s a very approachable lesson! I’m going to try it and then I may have questions. Thanks again Chris!

Very helpful indeed Chris! There's a 'requirement' where video is making part of the story to tell. Cheers
Great video, very helpful. Thanks a lot, Chris. I look forward to more videos about filming with Fuji cameras. I own the X-T3.

At 3:59 you mention that the OIS for the 16-80 lens is a setting inside the camera. This I cannot find. Your help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
As usual, condensed content and to the point!
Helpful AND entertaining, Chris. I loved it.
