Lore wise. When a Demon dies outside of the Twisting Nether, they simply regenerate back in it. Argus is so fel saturated it's like they die in the twisting nether - a permanent death.

After Yogg-Saron, the only living Old God left has been N'Zoth, and not only was he imprisoned and extremely weakened deep under Nazjatar, he is definitely not gonna make a move while Sargeras, is hovering all around Azeroth during the antorus assault. The reason Sargeras destroys world souls is so the void/old gods don't corrupt them.

the lovecraft stuff is just an aside. the main story has always been the legion, scourge, illidan's obsession, arthas' turning evil, emerald dream being corrupted etc. The original content has been burnt through; HP Lovecraft stuff was added later and is now being explored because the original story is done.
anonwoohoo Emerald nightmare was old god stuff. Faceless ones have been around since Frozen Throne. They canonized old gods being a bigger threat than the Legion in chronicles.
It's quite clear that the next expansion will be something along those lines. If you haven't seen already, there's a datamined armor set labeled Kul'tiras Leveling armor with a world map on it, which we can only assume is Kul'Tiras and the new zones for the next expansion.
Warcraft 3 fan here maybe its just the nostalgia from the past games,but leaving the planet that was the main hub for the story years from now is just unheard,i dont like this visiting other planets idea evan outland,argus and draenor,sorry but i adore Azeroth the most!Why dont we have void expansion here on Azeroth?that's the question!

This is one of the best patch trailers this game has ever had
The thing that excites me the most about Argus is the chance to see a Void Lord. They've never been seen on Azeroth because they absorb an insane amount of energy just to physically manifest themselves. For one to show up would probably bring another Cataclysm so we'll most likely never see one there. Argus on the other hand is filled to the brim with energy from the Twisted Nether. A prime location for a Void Lord to show himself to us.
But, Fel counters void, hence why Sargeras utilizes it. I doubt a Void Lord would manifest himself on a planet so satured with Fel.
While the Burning Legion is in control of it, absolutely. That would be a dumb move. But I can see one showing up after we destroy the Legion. I mean it probably wont happen but I can hope :3 I'm guessing the next xpac will be Old God/Naga related and will probably have nothing to do with Void Lords.

Krizzlekroo i mean, when a mob dies it has to find its corpse, by walking to it from the spirit healer, just like you. Thats why you wait for it to respawn

its not. You can kill demons only in TN OR in place where Nether influence is high, and Argus is such place. This information is from WoW Chronicle Volume 1.

None of the demons except the eredar are from argus
no, from chronicles we've learnt that places overflowing with the twisting nether energy (argus actually is overflowing with that) can kill for ever a demon... we killed archimonde on hellfire citadel( high nether energy) and kil'jaden dies on the spaceship that collide with argus.... this is it

Turalyon (i believe,) is shouting at illidian stormrage, because after the fall of kil'jaden, Illidian used the "Key to all worlds" bringing Argus close to Azeroth.... lol its pretty cool, awesome storyline, im waiting on Jim Raynor to show up in starcraft, i mean Warcraft..:)

The entire xpac has been hinting at Old God stuff.
Great, more mumbling or screaming tentacle monsters ripped right from Lovecraft except done worse. Woohoo.
Done worse? I thought all the Old God designs are great, and pay homage to their individual Lovecraft lore Elder Beings. We've only seen the heads of these monstrosities, and their reach goes DEEP into the earth of Azeroth. Those hives in south Kalimdor are extensions of C'Thun's insectoid body. Saronite is everywhere in Northrend, Icecrown Citadel being built out of it, and that is just Yogg's blood, no idea how super massive it's body truly is, or how deep it's tendrils have dug to the Titan Soul. The Well of Eternity is more proof of how deep the Old God's reach is. Literal planetary lifeblood, a scar left behind from the colossal body of Y'Shaarj.

Prophet Velen is my favorite character of the whole WoW. He has gift, faith and vision. It's vary sad that he lost he's son, and that he was alway been forced to flee, but finally he will take his revange! Move to victory Prophet, my oldest friend!!!

Warlocks dont draw their power from Argus.. The twisting nether and argus isnt one and the same.
I don't think we destroy it, the planet becomes a jail for Sargeras and the Pantheon and Iidan are the jailers I think

Turalyon yelling "YOUVE DOOMED US ALL" doesn't sound like the way you'd yell it to an enemy, which means he is probably yelling it at an ally. That's probably Illidan, but I could be wrong.

I love that you have added subtitles to these, and I hope you continue with that, but I would like to point out one minor and one major mistake here: Sylvanas screams "Warchief" but it says "Vol'jin" in the subtitles, this is not catatrophic, but "Every demon we slay here dies their fine death"? Please change this :)

Technically, aren't The Eye, Botanica, Mechanar, and Arcatraz all flying Draenei ships? Exodar is the only one that is actually grounded.

Good, Illidan is an evil war criminal tbh.
Illidan would kill Turalyon in a heartbeat. Khadgar struggled to Gul'Dan himself, yet Illidan killed him in one fel sweep.
Thats because Gul'dan was already out of power and injuried to oblivion, Also the power of the Holy Light is much stronger, so it would won't be an easy fight.
Illidan isn't from Holy Light, he's Fel. And it even explains in the comics that Khadgar and the Hero's of Azeroth (us) couldn't even kill him. That's why in the original past timeline when we face Illidan in Black Temple, you see him holding Gul'Dans skull. He finished him alone when in that time Khadgar couldn't nor did us. Read the comics you'll understand.
I'm just saying it won't be an easy fight, Turaylon is the strongest Paladin to ever live. I don't think he would go down easily. But to be fully honest I hope it's Illidan that he attacks, Imo I think Illidan is easily a very awful person.
Can't wait to see Alleria again! She is my fav character along with her sisters!

For those asking you saw Turalyon and Alleria,t wo commanders from the Alliance of Lordaeron (Precursor to the current Alliance) that originally went to Draenor in the events of Warcraft 2 along with Khadgar, for years we thought the two were dead when Draenor ripped itself apart and became Outland. also funny thing...Even though Alleria is Sylvanas' older sister, Sylvanas outranked her in Silvermoon's army

Imagine how awesome this could be with a new game engine. And gameplay ano 2017. Sadly Blizzard will probably milk this old game dry for decades more....
Easier to update the current engine with newer concepts then build one from scratch. Additionally the lore itself is starting to run dry, so probably not as much reason to invest in one anyway.
The current game engine is fine. All they have to do is keep updating the textures which they are already doing. When was the last time you played WoW? the recent expansions that have come out has the game looking really pretty.

What would a legacy server do? You KNOW the zones, you KNOW the lore, you will never experience the first time being in Stormwind / Orgrimmar or whatever zone again. No old zone will feel new, you will just be stuck at low levels for long periods of times, see nothing new.
Stepping into the elwynn forest for the first time, that feeling will never be back again. There is no need for Blizzard to waste resources on people crying "LEGACY SERVER".
