Just a thanks to all who have left comments here to one of the most philanthropic groups in the world. Shriners' Hospitals have help millions of children from crippling circumstances in life and you folks spew hate and hateful comments.

The Shriners do not promote or pronounce it but they are Muslims they believe in one GOD whose name is Allah
Their obligation definitely borrows from Islam. But I'm not sure any of them would identify with Islam...I wanted to be a shriner but I can't say that obligation with a good conscience. So that's that. However....If they would allow me to join without it, I'd consider it.
Why are they so obsessed with kids?
It supports a charity for kids thats why. That's like it's thing
There not obsessed with kids there charity and hospitals heal kids at no cost to there parents in exchange for mercy from GOD to it's members
