    How do I slow it down a bit? Its too fast for my liking.
    I found it!
    1. klick in the path that the camera is following.
    2. klick "object data properties" wich is usually on the right side of the screen.
    3. Klick "Path animation" and then select the amount of frames you want it to play. Hopefully this helps!

    At 3:23 you NEED to switch back to "object mode" or the camera will not snap to the cursor. Nubes may not know that. Great tutorial though!

    You wanna slow it down?
    Select the path
    Go to edit mode
    Select the second to bottom page on the right
    Open the “Path Animation” drop menu
    Notes:
    The higher the frames are, the slower
    the camera moves
    I’m not sure if this works for the circle path, but it does work for the NurbsPath
    -Thanks for reading and hope it helps!

    Great tutorial. I have been using C4D for nearly 20 years now for broadcast and commercial work, mostly for consumer electronics manufacturers. Blender is starting to look very interesting especially with Cycles X/K hot on the heals of Redshift and Octane which are what I’m using now. In dipping into Blender I’m finding that I like it, especially how broad the add in market is. It seems like there is a great add on for just about anything.
    One issue that I’m having and maybe there’s a simple way to do this that I’m overlooking but I can’t seem to find an easy way to do more complex camera moves like I do in C4D. In C4D you can look through the camera and translate, rotate, zoom, dropping a key frame at each new place you move, rotate and zoom to and C4D will be drawing a spline between all of your key framed moves while your looking through the camera. No need to constrain to a curve you have to add and attaché the camera to through what seems like a unnecessarily complex nesting of null or empty objects as they are called in blender. In c4d it feels a lot like how you would film in the real world with the ability to smooth out the spine points, add additional or fewer spline point subdivision in between key frames in order to speed up or slow down the move. There is also various easing in and out options between key frames.
    I’m not sure if Blender has anything similar and I’m hoping it does or perhaps a way that’s even better. Thank you for the great tutorial!

      i started my 3D journey with blender and recently started working with c4d. animating cameras and simulating things is absolutely horrendous in blender. it's the absolute worst, it makes me so angry i have to look up how to make a camera follow a path EVERY single time, because it NEVER works out when i just try to make it, because there is so much random SH*T you have to pay attention to. in c4d simple put a tag, follow path, done. EASY. anyways, i wanted to ask you how you activate that function in c4d that the camera keyframes draw a spline that you can smooth out? for me it does not draw a spline, when i keyframe my camera movements in c4d, it just tries to transition into the next keyframe somehow, sometimes even the rotations get effed up because it seems more random than natural.

      In this case increase or decrease the number of frames... but when i have done this tutorial, i should have use an empty object... check this one: ruclips.net/video/mkD7S7wLx1I/видео.html
      I have tryied to simplify the process but i think i should not have done that.

    thanks for the tutorial. But it does not work for me! If I follow all the steps I have a light wich is somewhere and there is a smal dotted line, which is connected with the cirkle and the beginning of this dotted line is going around the circle and the light (at the other end of this dotted line) is spinning around somewhere and somehow. What happend here?

      please check this tutorial... ruclips.net/video/mkD7S7wLx1I/видео.html
      It uses an empy object to move the camera... that was something that i should do to also... but i have tried to simplify the tutorial...

    YOu can also add the 'lock to' constraint on the camera to focus on a selected object .. eg the cube in this illustration

    • @RenatoPiresPt
      @RenatoPiresPt  2 года назад

    When I try to parent the camera to the circle I don't get the option for follow path. I only get
    - Object
    - Object (keep Transform)
    - Object (Without Inverse)
    - Vertex
    - Vertex (Triangle)
    Help!

    Thanks! Though somehow when I make the circle elliptical, it stretches the object travelling on it. Any idea why it happens and how to fix that?

    • @RenatoPiresPt
      @RenatoPiresPt  3 года назад

      Well i think that is not supposed to do... it should rotate in an eliptical way.... can you create a new circle and try?
