    Great video I have excessive water coming from my rear AC unit. The drain stays clear but it still backs up into my vehicle and gets the passenger floorboard wet. Could excessive water be an indication of an AC evaporator that is failing? The air blows ice cold.

      Thank you for the comment. Yes your correct. There are a numbers of ways in which air flow can be restricted. First if your country is high humidity %. The dirt stuck inside of the evap core can cause the air flow restricted and evap core will frozen and the drain plug clogged the water stay inside.

    Hi, I have a 2012 Chevy tahoe, front will blow semi-cool while rear blows colder. Checked ac and refrigerant wasn’t low, compressor kicks on. Could it be an actuator?

    • @ejmegzcarvlog7226
      @ejmegzcarvlog7226  3 года назад

      Possible! Try to check again. Close the inlet or recirculation door, then compare the cold or temp. between front and rear. If still the rear is colder than front. Check the suspected temp. door actuartor. Using an scan tool you can check the actuator if is stuck or working good. Review the data of the temp door actuator. The counts must be closer or not morethan 3 counts different between the actual position and commanded counts.

    • @ejmegzcarvlog7226
      @ejmegzcarvlog7226  3 года назад

      The possible parts are cause of your concern, maybe orifice tube in pipe line or accumulator.

    • @ejmegzcarvlog7226
      @ejmegzcarvlog7226  3 года назад

      Check also the data counts in scan tool, the inlet or recirculation door actuator if is not stuck. If stuck open, the temp or air from engine will in to front evaporator.

      Test drove car again today and now the passenger blows cold -measured around 55 degrees Fahrenheit) and the driver side is blowing warm 85 degrees. This is with ac set to coldest setting and re circulation on and off. I’m thinking It’s a blend door actuator but from what I’m reading there’s more than one, how do I know which one is the the problem one? Also, scan tool gave me trouble code B0423-08. Thank you for your help

    • @ejmegzcarvlog7226
      @ejmegzcarvlog7226  3 года назад

      @@droboyjr B0423 is for passenger air temp actuator, 08 is not available in our manual. Check data in scan tool like air passenger air temp door position or actual compared to air passenger air temp door commanded, the counts must be closer not morethan 3 counts different. If morethan 3 counts actuator is fault.

    I have an '07 Yukon. I take the bolt off the block holding the lines to the evaporator but I cannot separate the block and evaporator section. I'm not sure if someone used a sealant but it is like they are glued together. Have you ever come across a scenario such as this?

    • @paulh3402
      @paulh3402 3 года назад

      Yeah I believe this is a 2015 model or newer. So on top of that valve body that you see underneath you need to take off the cover where you're Coils are located, There should be 2 torx screws to separate the valve body.

    • @ejmegzcarvlog7226
      @ejmegzcarvlog7226  3 года назад +2

      Base on your statement and explanation, the fault is the Door mode actuator. I would suggest to check first the circuit. But you ask me, for easy way and manually. So replace the door mode actuator. Review the video at 19:34 mins. Upper side there is a two actuator, the right side is adoor mode actuator.
