How long does this job typically take? I ask because I took my 2018 equinox in for this issue and the mechanic shop has had it for almost two weeks...I can see it's a lot of work, but is two weeks normal? It seems you did this in a day or two.

when you pry the door panel the top part has clips, pull forward to unclip,,do not remove pull out the debris thing ,,,just unclip the panel forward,,will save you time and cursing,,,,

Did you happen to have a u0074 code as well?

Can you disable the entire air leveling system if I do not need it and avoid any future problems.

Please explain what you the spray was you used first before the WD40. What did that do? Also, the expansion valve on my Acadia in the rear behind passenger tire won’t free up. I got the center nut off and the two that hold the canister but can’t get the AC lines off. Heater lines came off after using zip ties to help press tabs.

What was that you applied was it some type of flux?

Mine easily unlatches at latch. But only opens abt 5 inches (over time), and you cant force open. Is there a way to release it so we can repair??

What's the gold looking stuff in the bottom of the pan? Mine had those chunks of brass/gold nuggets at the bottom of the pan when i changed my fluid. It moves around and is not casting material. Makes a very slight whine when Revving the engine.

Hello Mr Ej I followed your video I remove bolt nut my dashboard don’t come out what I missing

2:10 there is one bolt and one nut they don’t show removing, in this excellent video. The bolt is for the ground wire that goes to the wiring harness they’re pulling through the firewall here. The nut is by the top right corner of the control module seen in the top left corner of the screen here at 2:10 the nut fastens a plastic portion of the dash to the firewall.

Got one tomorrow 19 hours gonna leave engine in. After a couple they become gravy .

You need to do an indepth video showing what all needed to be disconnected to do this. This looks way easier than taking it out piece by oiece

My 2017 Traverse evaporator has gone out it seems. How did you all determine it was bad? I very mechanically able but I'm solo. After watching both videos this is way more than I can do on my own.

So, you replaced the Evaporator and the Heater core while you're at it?

I just asked a Chevy Service Advisor if there was any common repair for this gen Impala. He told me it was the AC evap core. His description of the repair matches this video perfectly. He said it is a 12 hour repair. $175 labor per hour plus parts.
