Acually it makes it harder the only kinda advantage is that there lighter then a normal limb but not by much and although it has a spring affected it does not come close to how much a ankle and calf and throw you that why when amputees jump they can just do little hope while a person can jump way higher using only there ankle and calf power dont believe me look it up its proven now that it's harder to run an blades then natural limbs
You’re correct. There is no prosthetic that can replace the effectiveness and efficiency of two normal human legs. Not to mention in a normal leg, all the muscles are connective. Para-athletes with runner blades can build up their quads but still faces a disadvantage because there are adjustments he can’t make and he can’t stretch out to a long stride like other runners. And the blades propel him straight up so he has to use his quads and body to push himself forward against the up and down momentum
I feel like those legs can probably make you jump higher and run faster.also if someone comes and makes fun of you that you dont have any legs just kick him in nuts. With those legs nutkick would hurt 10 times more lol.Is it weird that i want to change my legs for these ones?
i recently lost my left foot and ankle and i would do anything do have them back and your nub aches just like a foot would it’s really not an advantage
I’m an amputee with a blade. There are some advantages, but there are disadvantages as well, such as increased pain, not having the muscles needed for running, some prosthetics are heavier etc.
I follow this guy on TikTok now, he’s super funny

WJR I’m a amputee and your right In the way of jumping I can’t jump as high as I use to
@@omgitsskie3165 Yeah I assume you have an advantage but people don't factor in that using prosthetics are... you know.. hard.

you rather get hit with those than a real leg trust me
One day, it may be an advantage. But listen, it is not an advantage. It really really isn’t.
@@OneLeggedDiver I’m an amputee and I agree. For me the disadvantages weigh out the advantages

are you willing to lose both legs to have an “advantage”
@@comaticcody2266 100% legs are over rated
Bruh you can't move blades like legs so it's harder
