Yes! Please go deeper into the Necromunda lore! I find it pretty interesting.
This is the first sponsorship that got me, well done. Visited the site and am very inclined to spend money.
More necromunda and some crime story hour

Can't believe london exists in wh40k
💀
Truly the most grimdark of locations
It’s all just part and parcel of living on a hive world
Birmingham is also real
What’s wh40k ?
Back when I used to play, -13th addition, we didn't use this fancy "dice rolling" or "turn based" mechanic, we just slammed our models together and whoever broke had to be sacrificed
The truest form of combat!
metal models were probaby the best
13th was cool, but i liked the introduction of actual fire in 15th ed...
Next edition should require players to shoot their models with real guns, chop them with real knives, and set them on fire everytime they get hit or wounded
Games workshop came and sponsored our games club at our school donating a ton of games and models from hero’s quest, advanced heroes quest, man o war, epic, warhammer, warhammer 40k (it was still first and second edition then), tyrannid attack with extra game floor plates that was the tyrannid ship, space hulk with the expansions, and some other stuff I’m probably forgetting. A lot of us had got our own figures but also used many of the figures that were donated (mainly space marines, genestealers, and tyrannids (other than what is in the other games like epic, the warhammer fantasy stuff. We mainly focused on 40k)
One game we were playing one guy decided to take his hand and wave it into our armies knocking figures everywhere. So we did the same thing to him, which he had kit bashed several of his figures. He threw a tantrum as soon as his figures got knocked over. We began laughing at him and saying he did it to ours so he hadn’t a leg to stand on and cry. He then began screaming that all the figures he used was his while part of the figures in we used some of them were the donated ones so it wasn’t so bad when he did it. Later he couldn’t figure out why no one wanted to play with him.
Honestly house Goliath is basically the thunder warriors
1. Larger than unarmored space marines
2. Last a short period
3. Aggressive to the point of recklessness
Could be that a certain someone slipped the net and ended up making a nest on Necromunda. Though I think the Goliaths are strong due to sheer size and muscle mass, while thunder warriors would be pound for pound stronger, faster etc.
They sound similar but there are a bunch of key details also they are they one house we know exactly how they came about
They are my favorite house on necromunda.
“A little glass vial?” “A LITTLE GLASS VIAL!”
And the little glass vial goes into the gun, like a battery~
@@elijahhayter3026 And the Zydrate gun goes somewhere against your anatomy.
@@peterthomas187
And when the gun goes off, it sparks
And you're ready for surgery!
I was going to up vote, but then I saw it was at 69.

The Necromunda Game is obviously set in Necromunda, but imagine that the Imperium has over than 32,000 hive worlds with between 5-20 hives each, imagine how many gangs there are in Imperial territory.
Yep. Necromunda has the biggest production of all hive world's but the idea of how many hive world's have gangs it is crazy. I find it funny that there are gene stealer cults but they cants get a true hold because the gangers kill them they even nuked them once lol.
Leaves a lot of room for creativity
@@nathanieladams8633 nope, they all going to be different flavors of trans.... in the rainbow future of the far future, there is only gender confusion...
There was rules for Dark eldar "necromunada" in a old white Dwarf
@Glaaki13 do u know if you can still access this anywhere?
As someone who hasn't played Necromunda since the 90's. This was amazing to watch. I had no idea just how fleshed out the setting had become.
Oh ya they have been doing A LOT with it since it's relaunch in 2017.
It also comes with all the corpse starch and Scrape you can stomach.😂
Oh believe me, it expanded beyond these ganger houses. Genestealers, Chaos Cults, Enforcers, Bounty Hunters, Prospectors(Necromunda squats/kin) and ash nomads are in the game.
Can't forget the corpse grinder cults.
WITH THE HAND OF GOD AS MY WITNESS, WE ARE DEFINITELY NOT FREMEN.
LOL so true
The Fremen are pretty chill without Mua'dib, just surviving the desert trying to take their planet back while preserving their culture
Bots are getting too good
Leave us alone bot
@@carna-9501how is being enslaved chill bruh
Cawdor has become my absolute favourite, budget Black Templars are incredible! 🤣
This is even more ironic that the Imperial Fists recruit from Necromundan gangers.
More like budget pretonian peasants.
Wish Templars
Cawdor is dope, btw love the vids
Now that got me thinking about black templars using a bunch cawdor gangers as expendable cannon fodder like world eaters using jakhal cultists bro 😂
I've recently gotten into Necromunda big time. I've currently got a House Delaque and Palanite Enforcers gang. I love how disconnected Necromunda is from the rest of setting too
Same! Getting into necromunda is like discovering Warhammer all over again.
@@weshammerIt is and it's incredible!
The best game GW makes in my opinion. Glad to see this edition has been getting so much love. Now give us some Spyrers, Ratskins and Scavvies already!
Yes! I'd love some Spyrers
Sadly the Ratskins is kinda retconed, as i know :/
I beleive htey actually recently brought back Scavvies but call them "Muties" now
A day that starts with Wes is a good day
But there's no days that start with W-e-s, so.. no good days ahhhh
I really hope that besides the main gang houses duking it out, the other factions get expanded lore, such as the Ash Waste Nomads, Corpse Grinder Cult, Ironhead Squat Prospectors and Palantine Enforcers.
Your videos get me through these 14 hour shifts. Can you cover the Eldritch Horror of the Ghoul Stars or the Cursed Founding?
I've put them on my list :)
14hr shifts! You want to look for a different job
@@darthghengis This is the life of a Nurse Practitioner. It beats being online for that same amount of time doing nothing. I have to put this degree I worked hard for to good use.☺️
@avalontheeldritchwhorror8212 fair one,but 14-hour shifts will drain you. No employer should ask their employees to do those hours.
@@avalontheeldritchwhorror8212 The U.S. is truly a hell hole. I wish you the best.
I remember a Necromunda promotional art back in the day. It was just a destroyed alleyway full of rusted garbage. That is Necromunda. I would love more Necromunda content.
So basically wh40k meets cyberpunk with mad max with fallout somehow involved
Listen if it's apocalyptic in the future? Then, somehow, fallout is involved
Always fallout
Always has been
I played Necromunda in the 90s and had no idea the lore had been expanded on since then until this year.
Ngl, the Underhive sounds like the PERFECT template for a 40k dungeon crawler game
I have actually been hoping you’d cover Necromunda content in your videos for quite some time, I absolutely love this universe. So please by all means, make more content on it 😊
The developers of EYE Divine Cybermancy were the ones who made the Necromunda Hired Gun video game. While it's far more grounded than its predecessor, Hired Gun is still really fun, and not too expensive. Consider picking it up if you're at all interested in the setting. The boltgun is particularly satisfying to use, which I believe to be the mark of a good 40k game.
Last time I was this early, the second legion wasn’t erased from history
16:58 Charlie's still alive and kicking in 40k, good to know
(In MoistCr1TiKal's voice) "Hey guys, I wanted to talk to you today about being forced into this gooning machine."
“We have Black Templars at home.” IM DYING IM DED
Finally, necromunda lore. Thank you!
You're covering the Necromunda gangs, I love them!
I always appreciate how 40K is so big that it has multiple settings in it at once
Can we all just focus and manifest an Aaron Dembski-Bowden book about a Genestealer Cult trying to take over Necromunda?
Hear me out...Tarkov...But Necromunda Underhive...

Shit, Fallout 4 but in Necromunda. Would own all.
I request Necromunda deep dives! They’re fascinating and you have a very good narrative of WH things.
Necromunda is what I started with a year and a half ago..now I’m all the way into the universe, thanks to you! I just put storm of iron, and the book about the tech priest on my list as well! Big thanks to you 🎉🎉🎉
House Cawdor: We're the westboro baptist Church of the imperium.
House Escher: We're literally just Wych cults but human and a bit more punk rock than goth.
House Goliath: They tried to reinvent the wheel and artificially create Ogryn. They got a mix of ogryn and Ork, but human.
House Orlock: M A D. M A X...but also mafia. Sort of.
House Van Saar: The SECOND the mechanicus finds our we have a (semi) functional STC, we are boned.
House Delaque: We're the Necromunda CIA. But we might actually be in contact with the 40k version of Aboleth or the Reaper's progenitor race from Mass Effect. Plus, we got sick eyewear.
Never got into Necromunda lore and it really is awesome, I hope you make more vids covering it! Also, really liking the editing on this one:)
Necromunda is by far one of the most fun games games workshop has produced.
I was totally into the original in the 90s, and was overjoyed when they brought the game back.
And the new edition is even better.
Escher was my first gang, Van Saar are my present besties.
House Cawdor: We have Black Templars at home.
House Escher: We have Drukhari Wyches at home.
House Goliath: We have Thunder Ogryns at home.
House Orlock: Mecronunda's Meritocratic Mafia 🙃
House Van Saar: We have Mechanicus/Scitarii at home.
House Delaque: We have Alpha Legion at home.
I've been aware of Necromunda about as long as I've been into WH40K, but knew little about its details. What a fuckin awesome setting! Definitely gonna need to dive into this, PLEASE give us some deep dives and story hours on this grimdark, mad max, crime world!
I think expeditions to the underhive would make a good game with mechanics from lethal company, it could practically be a mod for the game
This was so cool Wes, ive never gotten a real full deep dive of necromunda lore like this, its gotten me really excited about checking out those models in a new light!
Out of all the GW IP there is, Necromunda i hokd a candle for. Its so rich, and one ofvthe few games that still models non playables like hangers on. The new stuff, the old stuff. So over the top, it inspired me to cosplay 😅. Im here for all the Neceomunda content Wes! ✌️
I was just talking to a buddy about getting necromunda armies yesterday so this video really helped explain the factions for me. More on this would be great!
It's a great setting because just about anything can be added by went a bit deeper into the Underhive or Ash Wastes instead of needing a complex explanation. Things that aren't a threat to an army can get serious when it's only a handful of gang members to face it.
I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU TO COVER NECROMUNDA tysm Wes ur the best
Wes, this video was absolutely PHENOMENAL! I have been trying to find a much more in depth video on Necromunda and its gangs for a while, and when I saw this in my feed, it made my day in an instant. I know a lot of people overlook this franchise, but I personally would LOVE more videos on it. The Corpse Grinder Cults and the Palanite enforcers seem so interesting. But yeah, this video was great! Thank you for all your hard work, and hope all is well!!
Thanks, I appreciate it and I'm glad it made your day! I received a lot of very nice And encouraging comments for more necromunda content. So at the bare minimum, I think I'm going to make a follow-up In the same style as this one covering all of the other gangs.
I love Necromuda so much. I started playing it when it first came out and if I ever get back into tabletop games I’m starting there.
17:39 don’t forget that they also cared for each other a little bit too much.
Take the step out of “oh no step brother I’m stuck” and you have their relationship to a T.
The Mining Chads🤣
This gave me a much needed laugh after a long day. Thank you, sir.
YES, I love these longform videos, always super interesting, bless up Wes.
Good stuff Wes. For what it's worth, I'd enjoy seeing a rundown of the other Necromunda factions too. Palanites, Nomads, etc.
I love Necromunda as its as close to an 'average citazen's life as we are really ever going to see in 40K. Also want to see more squats.
I loved this video topic, and i learned so much lore i had no idea existed, even as a lifelong 40k fan! Thanks Wes :)
Loved this video! Keep 'em coming, please!
Oh wow! This gives me a bit of a “Warhammer Crime/Varangantua” feel. I knew nothing about this. Now I have to see for myself now that I’m nearly finished reading all of the Varangantua stories!
Just read those
@@ThorGiske I love it all. The novels and the short stories. I especially loved the Baggit and Clodde stories “Dredge Runners” audio drama, The Wraithbone Pheonix, and The Vorbis Conspiracy. ‘Warhammer Crime” doesn’t have much representation on RUclips yet, and I hope to see people cover it more soon.
very interested in the corpse grinder cults after the story u did, really enjoyed the video dude would appreciate more content for sure
I'm glad I used Escher Gangers as my EC Cultist Mob. They definitely have a Slaaneshi edge to them.
More Munda 4 us! Wes! Did you know that Escher House managed to invent an Elixir/cocktail with the ability to ressurect the dead? Look up the whole Deathmaidens! Good video! Hope you continue to Explore Necromunda!
Yo Wes, I just wanted to express my thanks and say my heart goes out to you dude. After hearing your hobby story closed I went to check on my old stomping grounds, Little Wars. Hadn't been in 12 years. Freaked out a little when I drove up to something different. So I googled them and it turns out the moved across the parking lot, To An Even Better Bigger Building. Now it's a propah store and they still have the tables in the back, and painting classes on Wednesdays.
So thanks Wes, if not for you I wouldn't have gone over there to see. And what a relief and joy it was to see the hobby store I uses to go to still kicking and in even better shape.
Hang in there man, I know this sucks and is not easy. But we're rooting with you to pull through. Hope the next "lab" has a showcase table so you can show us your minis!
I'm just here for the themed gangs. I hope there's themed gangs. Love those silly lil guys.
As a long time Necromunda addict I don't think I've ever been more excited by a WesHammer video. Love that you're covering some of the more specialist game lore too!
Awesome! Thanks for doing this for necromunda!
I love Necromunda. I sure would love to play it someday.
It's been years since I got into Necromunda and I still haven't found a single person who wants to play a campaign with me. Not even a one-shot.
Very much in the same boat, don't know why there isn't more interest in it. Its one of the coolest settings in 40k.
Love your necromunda video! Thanks a lot Wes!
This is your BEST video yet brother! Keep at your grind.
honestly, this is a good setting for Total war game set up, there are some rumors about total war warhammer 40k, if it's true, this could be a great setting
I don't see a lot of Necromunda lore vids. It was a nice change of pace from the glut of mundane lore. Its hard not to see the same lore on all of the lore channels. Good Pick Wes.
Great video as always Wes. You should definitely keeo covering Necromunda. It's a super interesting part of 40k.
NICE ONE WES!!! I mean while I am an absolutely huge Space Marine fanatic, on all the channels nobody ever does any necromunda and the gangs are freaking awesome and the whole backstory is awesome and it's just like its own little pocket universe that not a lot of people know about, I mean I know about it but I'm just glad that you're letting other people know about it so they understand how freaking ridiculously insane some of this crap is! LOL😂😂
Great vid as always, keep them coming, and Much Love and support from N.Y.!!!
Loved this videos thanks for keeping it exciting
Overtyrant… as in, Ogre Overtyrant Greasus Goldtooth!? The Goliaths are Ogres!?
Star Chamber… as in, Slaan Star Chambers!? The Silent Ones of House Delaque are Lizardmen!?
Very glad you covered this and would Love to see more attention given to Necromunda!!! ❤❤❤
What I like best about the description of house Delaque in the book, is there are about 4 paragraphs, each containing a conflicting history. And each paragraph finishes with, "this is a lie."
Literally one of the only channels i wait for to come out
Thanks for the intro seen the game but never knew anything about it would love to see more
Please make a video on the other factions in the game, I'm interested and am considering buying an army and dragging my friend with me!
Somehow I've been waiting for this for so long but never knew it til this moment. Lol
Nice! I've really wanted a good look into the necromunda side of 40k. Thanks Wes 💪
This was awesome! Would love to see more!!
I loved this video! Please do more Necromunda content
I love all Weshammer videos!
I love all Necromunda videos!
Defenitely sparked an interest in Necromunda for me! Would be very interested in more content on this lore
Love these videos keep up the good work
Really interested to know more about the other factions and whatnot ! If you want to make more videos about Necromunda Im all here for it !
Would love to see more necromunda stuff this video was amazing.
So Necromunda is basically every back alley in Europe as a planet, I mean that's fuckin awesome, more that the huge bombastic setting of 40k I love it when they focus on a much smaller one such as Necromunda and/or Darktide gives you a different perspective on the world of Warhammer 40k and I love it, I wonder if there are any stories or novels just like it
Would love more Necromunda videos! Definitely would help out the players in my Necromunda campaign I'm running who aren't 100% privy to the lore and universe.
Dude Delak and Van Saar are so cool. I'm 100% gonna have to pick up one of em and give it a shot
Woooo necromunda! Great models from there. I love getting a them as proxies for killteam or 40k
Necromunda is the best game in the 40k Universe. I used to play a few different gangs; Delaque, Cawdor, a Ratskin gang for a while and Spyre Hunters. Spyre Hunters were FUN. Enforcers always looked fun to play.
Would love to see a video on the non-gang entities you can/could play in Necromunda.
Best thing about this game was that for me as a kid I could have multiple gangs and still have spent a lot less than I would have on a single army in 40k. I wonder if that has anything to do with GW sidelining it?!
At least GW seems to be outputting some really good models for Necromunda
@@PelinalDidNothingWrong Yeah I'd love to see them put out some really high quality terrain and models. Now I'm older I'd happily spend the money. With the Ash Wastes stuff especially they're doing some really cool stuff.
I enjoyed your explanations. They didn’t deliver the usual horrific relieve from the horrors of reality, but it was pretty nice to listen and think about the worldbuilding behind it - how to gather a whole bunch of different crazies with very dark sides without making the world one-sided.
Thank you for this.
The Jerico book was a good introduction to Necromunda for me, I will definitely check out that clan Esher book you mentioned.
If you have the time, can you make another video with the other necromunda factions?
Ratskinns, enforcers and squat minners
Dear wes, my life ain't going great but your videos always calm me down thank you so much
Your smile makes me smile and I appreciate your happy vibe whilst I am being embraced by papa Nurgle.
Great video.
I loved it.
I think one on Spyrers would be awesome.
I really enjoyed this video, thank you
When I first came across Necromunda was when my friend pulled out his rule book and terrain. We had to use our own models at the time and all we had to go by was the book. I ended up loving the Van Saar for their weapon selection. Something about having that one heavy with a plasma cannon that can fire across the field really clicked with me. I often developed a strategy of keeping my distance well luring my targets out in the open. This is how we learned just how important cover can be!
Certainly glad they put out expanded rules and lore for this game as I absolutely love it! When all we originally had were the simple description back in the day it’s nice to have more! It’s a shame it isn’t as loved because it’s a bit easier to get into a game as you need far less models
Would love to hear more about the gangs of the underhive! This game need more love
hey love your work my friend!
I would love to know more about Necromunda please make more videos like this
Thanks for covering this was always curious with the different houses, also if you live in necromanda your roommate is likely to be junkie called spinshanker.
I'm quite new to the hobby but I love listening about other games like this. Hopefully we can see more videos about it!
Love this! I hope theres a decent amout of horror in necromunda, ive never paid to much attention to it and pretty much assumed that Necromunda was a catch all term for hive citys
I really like the little glass vial reference from repos the genetic Opera ❤️ 19:10
Yes! The video I have been waiting for 🔥
I just love the not so different setting of nekromunda. Pls more
