So true about connecting with people, it's something that's missing in the modern world.

Hey Dereck, I have always considered myself a friendly person, but it was after I first heard the song HELLO IN THERE by JOHN PRINE I absolutely always started saying hi to everyone I see when I am out walking. Sometimes you do not get a response but it is the many times that you do that is so rewarding to myself and the other person. Sometimes when you see that smile and surprise in their face you know that a simple word "Hello" made their day. Take care Dereck

Joachim Kühn is one of germany's finest (jazz-) musicians. He was all over the place: Avantgarde-, Free-Jazz, Jazzrock, Fusion, even some Rock tunes. His brother Rolf joined him a bunch of times. He was very 'en voge' in the 70s and 80s. Great artist, very gifted.

Hi Derek - that Robert Wyatt project you showed , the fold-out, reminds me of one of my desert island LP’s “Space Hymns” by Ramases (& wife Selket).
This was the production with Hot Legs as their studio support, with Hot Legs evolving into 10cc.
There are some great interviews with Selket here on YT, which contribute to the dirty deeds often plaguing the industry back then.
    Take care -
Edit: the connection I mention above is simply the “fold out” of the cover and in no way do I draw similarities thru the music. It was the actual fold out cover which caused me to wonder off into the Ramases comparison.

I have a reissue of it without the foldout. Saw the interviews awhile ago as well.
