Super Expert Speedrun Compilation [MARIO MAKER 1]

100 man. Sometimes I get really cool levels. In this video you can see some of those, mainly speedrun levels. I actually take inspiration from some super expert levels to create my own stuff... which kind of explains why I don't make levels very often. :p

This is exactly what Nintendo meant when they said they had too many "Hard stages that basically ran themselves". They aren't actually hard, they just have a lot of stuff crammed into them while you mostly just run straight ahead without much worry.

I like 'em all! They're all really awesome! I'm gonna choose a few levels among these that I'm gonna bookmark for later. :9 Well, just the ones that I think I could safely complete with my skill level. :p (I think the 5th and 6th levels in the video are the only ones I'll never be able to clear due to the precision. xD)
The mechanics in the second featured level was really weird. :p I do like four of the levels in here. :9 Especially the 2 fast-paced music levels. So dope!

It seems like when the thwomp activates a p-switch while Mario is below the coins they will transform into blocks and Mario will clip into them. Try replicating the setup, cause I don't think that's something that will ever happen by pure coincidence. :p

some of these are the worst kind of level to actually speedrun, from a mechanical perspective. because there's nothing there to actually optimize. you just hold down run and jump at the right time. sure, getting the right timing is difficult, but there's no way to deviate from the level's path to get a faster time. if you complete the level at all, you're usually within a few frames of the record
