@Notmuchherereallytbh 🧢… and about half of the big records mixes start in FL. Only trash producers leave all the mixing to someone else. You like having less work to do in pro tools right?

@@grobinson4805no they don’t. Just hip hop beats get made in there with some rnb too. But no one records in Fl or mixes, never seen it, at least not on a big level. Show me one top 20 record on billboard that was recorded in FL. Show me one.

I got suckered into buying the whole Manny M bundle in one of those Waves only 2 hours left scams. Never used them. Some are awful, but I'll give this one another chance. Thanks, G

people don't use because it is clean and has no harmonics, I only use the very top end 20k 25k bell on this EQ and specifically because it got no harmonics, thus no anti-aliasing filtering happening, making the EQ curve goes beyond 22k. Harmonics at around that area will do nothing but making things harsh plus adding a lot of unwanted artifacts. This EQ doesn't have all that and clean smooth sounding, just perfect for my needs.

Manny EQ is my go to workhorse EQ. The high band is an Avalon AD2055 the sweetest top end of any EQ. Waves just modelled the curve, if you want the saturation and harmonic distortion, Acustica Amber EQ is also the AD2055. If your CPU can handle it 🤣

I was staying away from those old-school EQ plugins due to their inability to target exact frequencies, but you inspired me to try it out for boosting frequencies, as you mentioned in the video! The quality of other Manny plugins is superb and this one probably is not an exception.

A couple things i don't like: 1. Double clicking a knob doesn't ZERO it. 2. No auto-gain-volume compensation. Those are two things EVERY plugin should have. But, it sounds good.

only an analog style eq like the 10.000 other eq's. nothing special.

    • @mixwithjerry

Every frequency is modeled after a different EQ. I’m sure there aren’t 10,000 other ones like this. I think it’s a pretty cool concept.
