The Inspector did the right thing ! You did the right thing and fixed the fault everyone is good to go !! , I notice you have slowed your speaking I can understand you a lot more now ...sweet truck !
I would say that if I was buying this truck I wouldn't want to see those bumps either, didn't take that long to do it right. Just my thoughts!
Here in Michigan the sheriff inspects salvage rebuilds but only looks for stolen parts vins they would never look at frame, and I have to drive it to them.
Might have to relocate to Michigan lol 😆
Some impressive skills on show there! It's always best to build a positive relationship with State Inspectors, because those guys respect people who take vehicle safety seriously and are very cautious about all aspects of frame, suspension and steering alignment. Trucks come in for special scrutiny because they are inherently less stable than cars and tend to be driven with more aggression. There is currently a considerable problem with the recklessness of some RUclipsrs, and there have recently been high profile fatal accidents as a result of those who abuse contemporary 'car culture', so let's be careful out there!
Man, inspections are much easier here in North Mississippi. Truck will be better than ever now! Good luck with your next inspection!
You could always go to another state to get your rebuild inspection then just get your registration tag with the rebuilt title in your area. Most states are simpler
truck is looking good Danny
That was disappointing that the truck failed the inspection over something so small. Hopefully it passes the next inspection. It's interesting just what can be repaired in the U.S. as most of the vehicles that are repaired in the U.S. would have a parts title here in Australia. They total vehicles here for not much more than a dented fender. Stay Blessed and all the best from Queensland Australia.
That’s crazy well I can’t complain too much🤔
In the US they have Salvage Titles for vehicles that have been in an accident and repaired... Dealers can sometimes get that title cleared of the Salvage Branding but if not then the vehicle even if repaired will lose a huge amount of value. Most people won't buy a car with a salvage title unless they are insane or unless they are doing the work and then keeping it... a background check will show the accidents normally. its all pretty sketch and shouldn't be done.
@@zippythechicken Here in Australia, we also have a Salvage Title, it's called "Repairable Write-off", but it costs a lot for an inspection after the repair, like around $1,000. The Parts Title here is called a "Statutory Write-off" and the vehicle can't be repaired or more specifically, it can't be registered again, even if it was repaired.
@@BrucePierson The problem is when so called "Professionals" buy salvage vehicles and then don't repair them correctly because it would cost too much. I don't know on this vehicle but I would bet that Ford would require that frame to be cut off and a new part welded on... and not just heating up the frame and beating on it... because that would leave the metal in a different condition that wouldn't react right in another accident... but cutting the frame and welding on a new piece costs a lot... so people hide the damage and then someone gets in a crash and dies... I don't blame that inspector I thank him for finding that because even though I am a former autobody mechanic theres a 90% chance I would have missed that... but I don't know how bad it was to start off so I can't say either way... All i know is if some kid bought a truck that wasn't repaired to factory specifications then the person that sold it to them should be monetarily and criminally responsible.. You can't put people's lives at risk because you don't want to spend the money to do it right... thats why I don't buy copart cars... they are only good for parts... not for restoration. but a lot of people who haven't been trained right or don't care about doing things right on RUclips buy them to make money and become popular on youtube... anyway ...
@@zippythechicken That pretty much can't happen here in Australia. They total cars for very minor damage, just so that they can't be repaired. It more or less comes down to if a part cant be bolted off and a new part bolted on, then the car is totalled with a parts title. I saw a van at an auction site that had a salvage title, because someone ran into the back of it and dented the back hatch. Just a simple matter of bolting the batch off, bolting on a new one and then paying $1,000 to have the van inspected so it could be registered again. Who would want to spend $1,000 on top of parts just replace the back hatch.
Not sure if your alignment guy will read this comment. but if he clicks on the picture of the control arm in the caster or camber measurement windows. the little control arm in the bottom left of the colored box. he can click control arm adjust on turnplates. then it will tell him what direction and how far to turn each of the front and rear cam bolt, and that will put your caster and camber bang on.
I will make sure my brother sees this bc I don’t think he knows that.
The truck looks nice
Thank you!

Danny a quick question what do I have to have to buy a wrecked vehicle from copart I want to work on a truck like that
Just depends on the state some don’t require a dealers license but some do. You can always go with a broker and have them bid on it for you. I’m not really sure on the fee but should be pretty reasonable.
great content!
Great job, truck is looking good. Seems that dude was being very picky but hopefully he’ll chill out and pass it next time.
