Actually both Nina Gordon (Rhythm Guitar) and Louise Post (Lead Guitar) are lead singers. Nina lead sings on Volcano Girls so she wrote the song. Louise lead sings on her songs. A very underrated band.
VS was my go-to band in the 90's. "Seether" and Shimmer Like a Girl" are must do's. Louise Post was the inspiration for Foo Fighters "Evergreen ". She was dating Dave Grohl at the time. After 20 years, they did "Ghost Notes". Amazing album.

In my opinion as a singer/songwriter myself this is the perfect pop punk song.
