@Satya R, there's something interesting about it cuz sometimes I am catching myself thinking that Fab needs a hug. Seems like we all need a hug these times. I am so glad that I've found out about these guys recently. Just a pure delight that we have an opportunity to inspire ourselves with somene's art
@The Arrayz nice synopsis. I don't remember exactly but I listened to something relatively recent where at least Julian doesn't speak fondly of the album. Id guess in general it's probably the poorest reviewed lp with least sales. Reflecting, it might have been on a show called Needle Drop I think
@A Synth I doubt he would look younger if he were to lose weight since his wrinkles would be more visible. Besides, he's definitely lost weight compared to his 20s. He just looks older because his skin is sagging IMO
@@freezedriedzombi8242 sorry if I sounded too serious. I just figured it might have happened that way. But, yeah, Fab is a wild and crazy guy in the best way. Lol!😉😂
Yeah, I agree. I love that album but the Strokes themselves don't much care for it. Which is a shame to me. But, then again, they were all going through a really rough patch as a group. So I guess that's why they didn't discuss Angles really. They just basically discussed how they met and what they thought of one another and joked around. That made this a fun episode but I have to admit I wish they could think of like, at least, one happy moment that they might have had during those sessions. But I guess not. To me, Angles is a very underrated album. They should at least play something from it. But, it doesn't sound like that's likely to happen.🤷♀️ It sounds more like they are into Comedown Machine. They toured and promoted Angles no matter what they thought of it. But they didn't tour or do much of anything from Comedown Machine. Maybe they got sick of playing stuff from Angles and, since they didn't tour with Comedown Machine they didn't get as sick of it. Idk?
@@lucakat9262 Yeah, I feel like they don't wanna go very deep about Angles and it makes me sad bc it's such a good album but, hey, at least they are still together :') Also, I've been told (and Idk if this is 100% true) that they kinda "had to" record CM. Maybe that would be an explanation or maybe they just didn't want to. Anyway, CM has so many good songs. Nick said something about playing 50/50 and hope it happens. We just gotta wait :/
@@Val-sk5mt oh, I agree. I thought that Comedown Machine was just done to finish out their 5th album because they had a contract with RCA to do at least 5 albums. Still a good album. I thought it might be the end of the Strokes with Comedown Machine but, thankfully, it wasn't.👍
