I’ve been a flameworker for 20 years and I never get tired of making or watching vortexes being made. I love to give them away to little kids because the optical illusion never fails to blow their minds. 🥰

This has by far been my favorite video. As of right now I’m just a collector, but I’m looking to start classes soon. Seeing how much you can accomplish with such a small object is mesmerizing. I look forward to making marbles and pendants to start and watching these videos has really been a great inspiration. Thank you so much.

I've been on the torch for about 3 years now, I'm 23 now and have been watching Dustin make things since I was about 17. I got my first torch experience when I was 19 and I was addicted. Dustin you have helped teach me a lot and I can't thank you enough. I'm cranking out frit pipe and sherlock orders now, I never would've imagined I would be in this industry, so thank you for your content. Takoda is one of my other favorite artists, I will definitely be trying to get in on that workshop. Love your work and thanks for what you do on the daily. 🙏💯🔥

Hey man, I made a vortex marble successfully today! I didn't have any opals but I did my best anyway. I've only been lampworking for a year but thanks to your videos I've finally blew out my own tubes(I thought I couldn't because I didn't have a metal tube tool like you have but I did it without!) I'm so new and without tools but it ain't gonna stop me! I got my torch and kiln and just enough glass to get started. My first pipe is going to be red white and blue but I need a bowlpush to complete it lol oh well. I'll be hitting up mountainglass soon🤣

Working with glass caught my interest last march as i watch someone in Denver make a Sherlock and i was hooked. Iv been driving a few hours to a studio and taking the 90min classes they have and im about to invest in one of the revere glass starter bundles. Cant return to work for a month due to injury so i have plenty of time to practice marbles. If i had to choose i would pick the marble so i have a visual representation of my goal.
