    Wow! Crazy to hear you guys talking about the connection between cooking and glass blowing. I’m currently attending culinary school and to hear y’all talk about the connections between the two really opened my eyes to why I’ve always been so intrigued by glass blowing. Awesome video and the commentary was spot on!

    So glad I found this channel. I’ve been wanting to get into glass blowing for a while now and binge watching you’re videos has inspired me to setup a local class and finally get it in motion. Watching these series has been relaxing and informative.
    Beautiful work and I can’t wait to see the next episode on this one!

    I constantly struggle with that, I’m not good enough yet. I have thousands of dollars in color and tubing that I won’t touch because I’m not ready. Nice to hear a better artist than me say that. I wished I could work with some other glass blowers. I’m out here on my own in central ny. If anyone is in the area and would like to try there hand at glass I have a whole extra torch set up ready for anyone to use.

    Wow I thought my issue was the opposite, when i do crushed opal I get that fuzz all the time, I figured I was moving when the core wasn’t hot enough. Never crossed my mind maybe the outside wasn’t hot enough. Now it’s got me thinking the oxy flame isn’t the right flame for that.

  • @kevinsparks3635

    Hey Dustin I'm jest starting to get my glass blowing studio set up. I'm having a hard time finding a place to buy a oxegen tank. Where did you first get your oxygen tank and how many tanks should I have for the gtt marige

    • @jameslminix6428
      @jameslminix6428 2 года назад

      Just one big K tank that you can exchange at your oxygen/gas supplier will work. I have a Mirage also. The tanks are a bit pricey if you buy them new. It took me a minute to find my first one. But once I got one, it seemed like friends had random tanks here or there, that they offered to me. I've got six tanks now, 3 K's and the others are various, smaller sizes. You can get by on one tank, but having 2 makes it easier to always have a full one on hand when you go empty.
