My son's 19-0 LL Team was playing for a Championship and undefeated season. The undefeated starting pitcher shows up for the evening game sun burnt and exhausted from swimming all day. He got bombed and lost the game. This after being told to take it easy the day of the game.

Baseball playoffs vs regular season soccer game. The decision to not play the soccer game is a no brainer. It's not that he can't do it he should not do it. He's the starting pitcher for his team. Yes, he could still not have a good game but it will not be because he got hurt playing soccer or is tired.
