- Welcome a long time friend of the house, Jonathan Sacks, as he sits down to talk watches with Claudio to about his current collection and some of his grail timepieces. Little bit of background, Jonathan works for Condé Nast Entertainment as a part of the business team, but more specifically he negotiates a wide range of deals including deals for content creation, production, licensing, and business development in digital media, television, and film.
He's a young but avid collector always looking to expand his collection that already includes a Rolex Submariner "Hulk", Rolex Submariner 14060, Rolex GMT Master II, but there's more than just Rolex! How refreshing to see this man collection. I like to hear people talking Pateks and Rolexes and Bulova and vintage Omegas all at the same time and with the same interest.

Very enjoyable interview , Claudio was so well paced and relaxed - so well done. Congratulations and thank you to JS who has really put allot of love , sweat and hard work into building a versatile, well rounded and tasteful collection that I truely admire. The classy blue dial Bulova was a unique truly beautiful and masculine sport piece that interestingly really seemed to set the collections tone - a great gift that started a great collection. Congratulations.

Really awesome, real collector. I love this series and hope you continue to find people across the spectrum of collecting to showcase, it's really nice that you don't only focus on PP and FPJ collectors.Would be cool to see Tim, Brian or Josh do the next one. Not to be critical but it felt like Claudio was really uncomfortable in front of the camera and was forcing it.

Great collection Johnathan. The Zenith, JLC, Patek & Omega. And damn brother 4 Rolex's. I only own 3. Oysterdate, Datejust & a Daydate double quick. Funny thing is I grew up hating Rolex's but ended up with so many. I'd love to showcase my collection in 3 more years when I'm finished collecting for good.
I think many of us going through this phase where we think that for the same amount of money, there are many watches from other brands that are much more interesting than a Rolex and then after we do more research on rolex, we end up loving it. Now my small collections consist of a DJ41, GMT BLNR and a Tudor BB
Take a shot every time Jonathan mentions "category kind of guy", "not have a second thought".
I think the quite high traffic of this video shows something which is the audience is attracted to real people with real personalities. I guess watchbox videos have to find that formula to balance that intimate human side, horology, and commercial side in future videos.

Nice show! This could be really good. Or better. The low key of it compared to the show we all know. Like it. But throw more vintage pieces in there. Or collectors that have both. Now it like walking into a rolex or Patek boutique and say a green sub is the less obvious one. Cause that the level of talk. Instead of a 'story'. 80% is new. No story. So what do you have to say about a new oyster perpetual? That you like a 3 hand watch... okay.
Or is it, that most of these watches are sold on your site? ;))

So the guys rich and still manages to get a $20k+ Patek as a gift must be nice to come from money. Us Peasants don't know what that feels like.

If you eliminate all the Aum, this interview could have been done in 20 minutes instead of aum 40 minutes.
A sub is a sub. The HULK is no more unique than the standard.
