I swear non-cash budgeter have my respect. I use cash to make myself accountable for my purchases since I have a tendency to overspend 😅 I’ve been really looking at my budget recently and trying to find way to make the priority for the things I need my budget to help me with. So seeing your reset helped a lot in knowing I could do a refresh and flesh out bad habits ❤
Yes they get mad props. Lol I could not wait until I was done with closing! Lol but yes I felt like since things were changing the old way old bills wouldn’t work for me now so a budget reset did give me some relief!!
Ok so I am one of those no cash envelopes budgeter ..Don’t hate me. I’m not understanding where you’re getting your cash from ? Do you go too the bank and withdrawal the cash monthly weekly or daily. I get paid once a week and I budget my money of the bills I have that come out weekly and the rest that left over I just leave it there no use my debit card too buy my groceries gas and miscellaneous. As for the 52 weeks binder I would love too set that up cause girl who couldn’t use ext money so where is this cash coming from. I know there are so whom get paid by cash instead of direct deposit. So if you could send my which video I should watch it might help..
@@LollyB1963 Everyone does things differently. I widthdrawl all the cash I need for variable expenses every two weeks when I get paid. My bills and big savings stay in the bank. As far as debit cards, I use mine for extra spending. Everything else I either pay with my credit card, and use my stuffed card to pay it off, or I pay cash
Welcome back. I have also had to put my cash stuffing on hold because I’m buying a house. Whew the underwriting process takes you through.

Yes yes I will start adding to shorts or recaps🥰 yes cause anything can bring up a red flag and you got to be able to explain where large money comes from and try to keep you assets and debt almost the same as when the pulled your information at first😩

We are good! We were buying a house (bigger office craft space!) so with the house buying process… underwriting… I didn’t move cash or alot and it was soooo overwhelming but we’re closed and done so I am back full force ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Congratulations on the new house! I know it's a relief to finally be in there and able to really make it your own.
I'm a cashless budgeter. I started cash budgeting during the pandemic. A lot of banks had limited hours and then my area was hit pretty hard by the civil unrest in 2020, so a lot of ATMs were either removed or weren't being serviced, so just getting cash became an ordeal. Not to mention my personal unease with having lots of cash on me. So now I use Qube Money to help keep things organized, except I don't actually use the Qube Money debit card. I have my variable expense budget direct deposited to Qube each paycheck and I divide it amongst the Qubes (just like cash envelopes). I use a credit card to make purchases and at the end of the day, I move the money from the Qube categories I've spent from to a Bill Payments Qube I have set up. Every two weeks, I pay the credit card's current balance with the money from Bill Payments. (I have a similar system with Ally Buckets aka sinking funds.) It took some time, but I've gotten into a rhythm since I started last fall and it's worked well for me. I get to earn cash back with my card, build my credit, and not have to deal with going to the bank.

If you haven’t heard of Dave Ramsey check him out. I followed his debt free plan back in 2004 and by 2006 I was debt free. Then I paid off my house a few years later.
I found out about Dave, many years ago.

I do cashless budgeting because I live where I use 2 different currencies! I have all my normal budget categories and at the end of each day I write down any spending with my bank app open, assign it a category and then at any point if I need to see how much I have left in any category I just go in and add up then deduct from my set amount. That being said I dont have nearly as many categories, I have groceries, eating out, gas, fun $, family purchasing, savings, and our actual bills of course

I love my digital envelopes! All cashless. 🙋♀️ The app is simple track and it’s great. It adds my money in on the 1st of the month and I deduct as I go. ❤

Hello im new to budgeting. Why do you take out your money that you didnt spend from the week before? Is it to keep from over spending? I was thinking about just taking it out at the end of the month.
I use the left over for savings challenges to help save and sometimes I do keep in envelopes like gas. I rolled that over the $20 cause gas is something you need regardless and the more you have for it the less stress you will be. Taking it out at the end of the month is something you can do also

You cashless budget the same way you cash budget. Instead of envelopes I have savings accounts. I have automatic transfers set up so as soon as my money hits the account the bank stuffs my “envelope” savings accounts. I’m so far ahead I half the time I don’t know when I get paid so I don’t pay it no mind. I don’t know how people touch all that cash 🤢🤮 then wonder why they have covid 🙄…. Money is FILTHY!!
Yes money is supper filter. You aren’t lying about that. Some of the things I do have as cashless.
