      Electric vehicles aren't environmentally friendly , they're hazardous to the environment because the batteries aren't recyclable so when the batteries fail they are thrown in a landfill.

    The RTX is a fraud. It's not fully electric - it has a diesel engine backup, its suspension is so weak and the truck is so narrow and tall (Euro chassis) that it is at huge risk of rolling over, and the water tanks leak. In fact this rig was out of service for many months because of the water tank leak.
    Clark County NV had one for less than a year, realized how bad it was and sent it back, and we are big on electrics here (lots of solar power)...

    • @chrisswanton5043
      @chrisswanton5043 24 дня назад

      If you are going to accuse something of being a fraud at least try to be accurate.The truck has an onboard clean diesel engine used to recharge the batteries in the EXTREMELY rare cases that it is required. We understand that there are dinosaurs out there that are unable to accept that the industry is progressing. You'll be ok.

    • @EnjoyFirefighting
      @EnjoyFirefighting 24 дня назад +3

      it's only tall when the suspension is all the way up ... and even then it's not really tall compared to some other European trucks. Huge risk of rolling over? Not really, even when put to the test and cornering at high speeds there's not really a high risk of rolling over.
      Not sure what you mean by weak suspension?
      "The RTX is a fraud. It's not fully electric - it has a diesel engine backup," not really a fraud; It can run and operate fully electric, the diesel is nothing but a backup which is barely needed at all

    • @jmWhyMe
      @jmWhyMe 24 дня назад

      @@EnjoyFirefighting I saw Clark County engine 18 heeling over very badly exiting the station. If it gets hit broadside it will roll much more quickly than a standard type 1 engine.
