@@Wheelmass I can confirm - I was at home in Fort Worth watching the game, and when the Rangers got the last out and became champions, I erupted with ecstasy. My cheering voice, along with the cheering voices of other fellow Rangers fans, traveled out of Texas and flew way over to Arizona. You better believe it!

The 4-1 result was a bit deceiving, it was a much closer series than that. If Arizona wins Game One, would have been a completely different series.

I've been a fan dating back to the mid-90s (around 1996) after I fell in love with baseball after watching "The Sandlot". Being the local team of the DFW metroplex, I became a fan of the Texas Rangers and stuck with them through thick and thin. 2010 and 2011 were momentous, even though they lost. But I never stopped loving them. I never ever quit my devotion to them. And now, they won! THEY WON! WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS!!!!!!

We are Tigers fans, born and raised, so I appreciate what you said. We stick with them through thick and thin. I wear my Tigers gear when I take my grandkids to Ranger's games since we live 45 miles from the Ballpark. We have been going to Rangers/Tigers games since the late 1980's at the little old park. My youngest son and his family are Rangers fans and I am happy for him to now know the feeling of "his" team winning it all. Congratulations to the Ranger's and their fans.

I'm so glad the Rangers were able to redeem themselves after they had a one strike away trauma 12 years ago in the World Series against the Cardinals. I was in kindergarten when we lost back in 2011 and I didn’t understand sports at the time but enjoyed going to ranger games with my family during the summertime, and being on FaceTime with my Dad during the final strike is hands down one of my favorite memories. Crazy to say…my favorite baseball team are finally champions😎

However if there was anyone on that Squad who is the key weakness it's Chapman he's going to need to do one of two things one learn other pitches or two be able to switch it up on them
I was 11 years old in 2011. That was the first year I began following the Rangers. It was such a gut punch to see the team lose the way they did after how strong they were all season long. As the years went on, I began to think that was closest they'd ever get to winning it all. My god, I'm glad these guys proved me so wrong.

Josh Sborz deals the first pitch and... it's low for ball one. 90 wins for the Rangers in the regular season, and they say to that, "So what?" They had to overcome all sorts of adversity to get here, and now here they are. 1-0 pitch is fouled off the mask of the umpire. 1 ball, 1 strike. I am pretty sure Sborz would love nothing less than to get the final strike, to get the final out. 1-1 pitch is a called strike 2, and now the Rangers are ONE STRIKE AWAY. Can the Rangers finish this improbable ride off in the best way? The 1-2 pitch... is inside for ball 2. Sborz trying to nail this game down for the Rangers. The 2-2 pitch is a curveball... STRIKE 3 CALLED!!! IT'S ALL OVER!!! After 62 long, agonizing years, the Texas Rangers can now call themselves World Champions!!!"
Even as Mariners fan, I'm glad to see the Rangers get that championship. Would have preferred it to go six games for the excitement and for Texas to get to celebrate at home, but it is what it is.

As a lifelong Giants fan, I’m so happy to see Bochy winning again. Congrats to the Rangers on your 1st WS title in franchise history. Y’all deserve it. For Arizona, sure this wasn’t the fairy tale ending they were hoping for, but they should be very proud of how this season played out. Just 2 years ago, this team lost 110 games. This season they won only 84 games, defying all the odds, being the underdogs, yet making it to the WS despite everyone voting against u is something to be very proud of and the DBacks should be very proud of how this season was even if they didn’t win it all. Both teams have a bright future ahead of them and once again congrats to Texas!!
All it took was Bochy being hired to manage the Rangers and the Astros having a Mediocre Home Record all season long.
Well, congrats to the rangers. As an Astros fan, I was definitely rooting for the dbacks, but the rangers pulled through. Even though I absolutely hate the rangers, I gotta give credit when credit is due. They shocked everyone this postseason. So congrats on winning your first WS rangers, now you’re only 1 behind us :).

As a Texas resident I don't really watch baseball but I did watch this run and I am happy for them and glad they FINALLY brought a championship to Arlington!
Overall a great performance, the Texas Rangers were able to avoid the Postseason effect that almost all teams got. Glad to see them win.
