hey its mark from san francisco calif and hope you got your abondon beech baron running. its a great airplane and as soon as the faa grants me my medical ( hope full) i an going out to look and find a 55 or 58 baron.
Nice vid. As a pilot, I find these “abandoned airplane” vids interesting. Makes me want to get my A&P. If I remember correctly, the guys that owned this Baron also owned that 182 you worked on.
ruclips.net/video/I1mu03uwklE/видео.html This is the video of us working on the Abandoned Cessna 182P. More videos to come as we put new avionics in it.
Hey man, nice video. I spend a lot of time flying out of that airport. Let me know if you're interested in a V-Tail that sits about an hour south of you guys, down 65. It's been sitting for a long time, but happens to have a zero time engine. It's probably internally/externally corroded by now, but might still have some value. I doubt the ruddervators are any good. Keep it up man!
@@Daybreakaviation Sure thing. It's down in Prattville. I can get you access. No clue about the owner, it's just been sitting forever. I'm sure the folks at Shelby were glad to open up a shade hangar spot. Any parking spot is in high demand these days! Do you have an email I can send my contact info to? Just as a suggestion if you haven't already, I would probably setup a dummy Gmail account for stuff like this.
While interesting, I just don't think any older twin prop like this is worth making it airworthy. Because even if it is, its just too expensive to operate and maintain.
If I wanted to buy it how is it possible for someone like myself that lives were no planes sit around for weeks or yrs at a time to see these or this in person ?
definitely need to tighten the cables up need to be piano 🎹 tight where you can tap it like tuning fork. definitely lube then just move all the flight ✈️ surfaces lube the hinges check fluids run the engines up to temp if they’ll light give her some throttle back n forth check mags . then after an annual another run go run the cob webs out of her. one thing with twins shut an engine off in flight it’s gotta re light make sure feathering works. seats 💺 most likely either re covered n dyed fuel sender unit works but they love go go juice yea i’d love to hear a smoke off clear prop. landing lights beacon marker lights i’d swap to led’s then jack it up see in landing gear works three green n locked
Yes it is, audio better in the next video but I am getting a mic also. Thanks hope you enjoyed the video more to come as we try to get this plane back in the air.

I agree with James Winter. Audio is so low. On my laptop and my phone i can barely hear what your saying. I enjoy your channel just nee more volume.
Sorry but the audio was almost not there! Sorry.
Hope he cleaned and checked that fuel intake carefully
What another amazing find!
If I win the lotto, I will just rescue planes to break even, maybe even a loss. Lord I love aviation. For now I will just keep my 1961 210A airworthy.
Love to be a part help you out as I do here working with a A&P I mechanic because it’s so much to know and learn
It looks in very good shape considering it sat for 15 years. The lack of corrosion in the fuselage is encouraging. B55 is a great plane.
I am looking forward to getting it back in the air.
@@Daybreakaviation I flew an A55 for a while. It is a great flying plane. The 470s have plenty of power and are smooth running engines.
B55 Models are doing well on the Market for a Piston Twin

He literally said it was from the same person as the other plane...did you actually watch the video lol
@@leejohnson6173 no, I didn’t. What vid ? Is there a plane somewhere?

Has anyone mentioned that you really need better audio? Other than that, your really making good videos. I'm subscribed...
Enjoying the content, but can barely hear you. You may consider a clip on wireless microphone.
When I used my headphone the audio is better, waiting for the next video
Interesting project. It would be great if you could give a bit more info on what you are doing and especially what products you are using🙏🏼🙏🏼
Will do

Thanks, the v tail is worth a look.

What did you get first, A/P or pilot licenses? Appreciate you sharing.
Got my Private license 11 years ago worked as an airplane mechanic in the Airforce for 6 years.

Does it have the original Logs and how many hours Total Time?
I do have all the logs, 3200 hours in frame and 74 on overhauled engine, check out the first video I made of it.

It's a shame to have an airplane that new sit for so long. 79 B-55?
Question why was this aircraft parked???
Previous owner stopped flying. Check out my first video on the abandoned 182.
Shame about the audio, clip on mike would be good cheers

So sad, their are so many A&P schools that need aircraft to teach their students on. Why don't the owners of this aircraft donate them to them?
We plane on getting this plane back in the air.
How much would it cost to get airworthy and legal?
Not sure yet.
@@Daybreakaviation thanks for the reply. No hurry. Just was interested.
The audio is so low
No mice 🐭👍🏻
Cna't hear a thing left at minute 1
Hate you didn’t stick around, check out some of my other videos, next video should be louder.
All of these carbon emitters have seen their better days. Those days are on the fast track to a dead end, I'm sorry you can't see that.!
Go drink the global warming government coolaid and keep you bs to yourself .
I don't think so. Global warming is a hoax.
I can barely hear the audio
Elevators look like they got corrosion. Most likely magnesium
You need to get better audio
audio is not good
Dont walk away, run. You would spend $100k getting it licensed and flyable, and another $100,000 on avionics
And it would still be cheaper with more airplane then any of the newer light twins made overseas.
very bad audio
