  • Today we test the landing gear that hasn't retracted in over 14 years. Also, we put new tires on the plane and trouble shoot the brake issue. Something unexpended happens at the end. UGH always something.
I am a pilot, firefighter, and Air Force Veteran. I found two planes that where destined for the Scrap yard. These planes haven't flown in 14 years. I tracked down the owner and made a deal to save the planes, Join me on the adventure of putting these two great airplanes back in the air.
Don't for get to check out the video on the abandoned airplane a 1979 Baron B55. Both airplanes where owned by the same owner and sat at the airport for 14 years. These planes where destined for the scrap yard. Thankfully I was able to purchase these planes and rescue them from the scrap yard (hopefully). I am a combination of Jimmy's World and Rebuild rescue. If you haven't seen their videos please check them out. This journey is just beginning.

As a Baron owner, I approve of this channel :) Also, just checking to make sure you're a member of ABS and BeechTalk! Plenty of free advice that's actually worth several AMUs per ask.

It takes awhile to recommission an aircraft. Take your time, and one step at a time. Next thing you'll know is how well she flies, and all those worries disappear. I look forward to your videos on both aircraft. Best wishes.

Man, that bird looks like it needs a lot of TLC to get it back to being airworthy.

It is ugly on the outside but the bones are clean and in really good shape. But yes a lot of TLC..

I love seeing the children learning. please please inform your children of the dangers of the prop. I had a friend who was getting ready to solo, engine was running they were so excited to solo that they reached thru for the front chocks. They lost an arm and facial injury's, luckily they fell back instead of going forward.

You actually have a very good camera man . Just needs to slow down a little on close ups, but impressive for his age.

run the beacon anytime your even just testing. check landing lights. run full power mag check. run em up to temp make hot. they should get healthier as you run em more till her annual. can do a fast taxi stop. first flight i’d stay close short taxi then even work up to a flight. add more fuel. run the flaps up n down. then after things are hundred percent 💯 clean bill of health go fly. touch n goes. use the feather move that. but even after a flight or two runs oil change. just my two cents

Beacon is INOP, we will have to troubleshoot it. All the other lights work just not the most important one.

You need to learn how to bleed brakes! You did it backwards! and the very hard way! I was liking this video till I saw that! My question now is? what else did you do backwards????

God forbid people aren't born with 30 years of A&P experience and are trying to learn new things. What a dumb comment.
